OK, TV Guide Channel has a show called TV Water Cooler on Mondays at 8PM/7C hosted by Debra Wilson and John Fugelsang. At the end of the show they have an e-mail segment and they read your e-mails about TV. I was hoping every one of you guys would send one e-mail to them telling them about the "Save Phil" movement and asking them to alert their other viewers about it. This is the e-mail I sent:
The Disney Channel show Phil of the Future, after only 2 seasons on air, was suddenly canceled by Disney in the beginning of December 2005. New episodes are still airing, as Disney is quick to remind all the fans that call in about the cancellation, but there are only 6 new episodes left of the entire series before it's gone for good. The reason for them canceling it was so that they could take the money from it to create an entirely new show, which really doesn't make any sense @ all. All other shows on Disney Channel have had at least 65 episodes, & all of us devoted Phil fans believe that Phil of the Future should, too. this is a great idea..i sent an email. we should just send emails like that to all different entertainment news stations that allow you to....just a thought.

Dear TV Guide,
Like so many other successful TV shows on the network, it was announced this past December that the popular Disney Channel original series had been cancelled after only two short seasons. From the start, the show has been popular with people of all ages and averages 4 million viewers an episode. It was reported by one of the show's stars, Amy Bruckner, that Disney took the money from "Phil's" immense success to make another series instead of continue with another season. Because fans don't feel the show has been given the attention it deserves, a movement has been created to bring it out of cancellation. The website is http://www.savedisneyshows.org/phil. On the designated "Save Phil" days, more than 2,000 e-mails are sent pleading with Disney to bring the show back as well as pledging our support as viewers for another season. There have also been petitions and phone calls made to Disney. Please help us by mentioning this on your show during the segment where you read viewer emails.

Just another thought: it might also be good to e-mail the magazines Ricky Ullman and Alyson Michalka often appear in. The more people that know about it, the better!
