I hope they do, but it'll probably be a while. It took That's So Raven almost 2 years to make a DVD, so I'm thinking that maybe sometime in 2006 they'll release one.

Yeah, & the entire first season of Lizzie McGuire just came out recently, too. I was happy about that because they might do that w/ POTF someday. ;D lol

Someone over at TVTome says that a DVD called, 'Phil of the Future: Gadgets and Gizmos' will come out on August 16. Not a very reliable source, but there might be more information soon.

I just found it on amazon.com, too. And they're also releasing a book in September that I just pre-ordered.

Apparantly the DVD only has four episodes that Disney picked out. Hopefully they're good epis. [though we love all of 'em, don't we? ] Does anyone have a listing or rumours or something? A book? Oooh. Interesting. What's it about? I have one of the Lizzie McGuire books, and I've read a couple more, and they're not nearly as nice as the episodes themselves because sometimes the acting is just so funny and fit for the moment...I can't imagine the episodes without Ricky's hilarious expressions or Aly's perfectly timed dull-moments. I've always preferred books to TV shows, really [I'm your regular bookworm ] but sometimes a show can't be as good in a book. Eek. Too much rambling. Sorry.

Apparantly the DVD only has four episodes that Disney picked out. Yeah, that's usually how those kinds of DVD's are released. They'll have just a few episodes on them & a bunch of special features. Maybe even an episode we haven't seen yet. haha They did that w/ the first Kim Possible DVD they came out w/, anyway. sometimes a show can't be as good in a book. That's true, but interestingly enough, a lot of times reading books is what gets me interested in a movie or TV show in the first place. I started watching 7th Heaven after I started reading the books, & w/ Lord of the Rings, I saw the first movie & didn't think I'd want to see it again, but I started reading the books & just became totally hooked. I agree, though, POTF just won't be as good in books as it is on TV. I mean, I can imagine how hot Ricky is, but it's just not the same. hahaha

It would probably be better if it wasn't based on an episode. Yeah, definitely. It would definitely make it more interesting because you wouldn't know what was going to happen. I'm not sure, but I think DC shows that become series usually are based on episodes, though.

Maybe if they picked up where the first story promo left off and end where the series began? Actually, I've been thinking of doing that, except go back further.

Actually, I've been thinking of doing that, except go back further. Yeah, that would be really cool, especially since I heard that there was a pilot episode that will never air. Maybe they could write a book on that or something.
