i say we march up to disney headquarters and stage a save phil of the future protest. i live less than an hour away from the headquarters. i think it would really get the execs attention. i'm a film student, and i have a teacher who used to work for disney channel. i know he can't really do anything, but i know he used to work on phil of the future, and he said it was a good show, so at least the people who worked on it like it. but, i think if we can get enough people together, we could really make a difference, and save the show. what do you guys think?

if we can get enough people together, we could really make a difference, and save the show. That's a big if. It's been proposed before, and it's just not something we can do. Everyone's to spread out.

Maybe we could start a huge fundraiser to get everyone over there.

Maybe we could start a huge fundraiser to get everyone over there. I'd rather use the money to buy ad space. And if you have any fundraiser ideas let me know.

The host of Reading Rainbow had either book sales or bake sales just to be able to keep his show running. Maybe we could have one of those. Or we could go around selling things like schools do.

Sell food or candy or something. Seeing as how we live in America, that'd be the best option.

Okay... How exactly would we have a "book sale or bake sale"? Everyone is too spread out. Fans of the show Angel mounted a massive campaign that almost saved that show, and several times they raised amounts in the neighborhood of $3000 in a week by just asking the members of the movement to make a contribution. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to work when I've tried it.

That's probably because most of the POTF fans are too young to make any contributions w/o help from their parents

When you try to raise money, do you place "Donate" buttons on the site? For kids it might be easier just to send in small amounts of cash to you, then you could report how much money you're getting. Then you could use the money for ad space, the website or anything else that would help the movement. Just out of curiosity, what did the Angel fans use the money for? Trying to bribe WB or whoever aired that show to order another season? Btw, I was joking about the bake sale.

I would donate... but I don't live in the USA If I lived over there too I would sooo make protests in front of disney headquarters AND use one of those advertising airplanes ,and pay them to fly over LA with a huge ''SAVE POTF'' sign on it!

Just out of curiosity, what did the Angel fans use the money for? Trying to bribe WB or whoever aired that show to order another season? Their problem was a bit more complicated because the show was produced by Fox and shown on the WB.

What would you use the money for, then? The things that I already stated?
