i hate the mtv channel as well. i love a some of the shows on disney channel too! non as well as potf though of course!

I know this is off topic, but I must add that I also strongly dislike MTV. And I absolutely loathe TRL. Play the whole videos or don't play them at all! [/rant]

lol Amen. I used to watch TRL several years ago, & that was so annoying how they would only play snippets of the top few videos instead of the whole videos. I think they played the whole videos for the rest of them, but the top few they either cut or didn't even show @ all, I think. I totally loathe the entire MTV channel. It's just disgusting, degrading trash & I refuse to watch it.  lol |

k, I know the last post on here was like 3 months ago but I've got my opinion too...  Personally I only watch MTV for like 2 of its shows. I like watching Made sometimes (depending on what it's about), and Parental Control is entertaining occasionally (I don't think it's really GOOD, just funny), same with Yo Momma.  But for the most part the channel annoys me. The reality shows are so fake and scripted and cheesy, and everyone on them acts so dumb. Disney rocks because their shows aren't all about trashy airheaded bimbos whining about how they're gonna #@$% up the next girl who glances at their boyfriend, yet they aren't too kiddish... I mean teenagers can watch them and still enjoy them. Obviously, because I'm almost a junior in high school and I consider myself pretty mature and intelligent for my age, and I like it. Anyone who says Disney is immature should realize that MTV is a channel meant for high school and college people, and yet its shows are about teenage girls whining about their million dollar 16th birthdays, people fighting over boyfriends, making out in hot tubs, vandalizing and stealing stuff from their school, trying everything they can to make themselves into beauty queens or whatever... yeahhhh...that's a miiiiiiillion times more mature than Disney.  I mean, a channel being good, clean and family oriented doesn't mean that 8 year olds are the only ones who will get it. Playhouse Disney is the one for little kids. Disney is for anybody, and it rocks.  At least its shows have a point to them... |
