Were they only acting? My first Phil of the future fanfiction. Raly!


“Okay, now Ricky, now you turn on the CD player, say your line and then you dance with her.”
“Got it.” Ricky Ullman turned to his friend, and costar Aly Michalka. “You ready?”
“When you are.” They were the stars on the Disney Channel TV show Phil of the future. Since the second season had begun thing had begun to heat up between their characters, though he tried to hide it Ricky knew that his feelings for Aly were growing with every ‘pheely’ moment.
“Action!” the director yelled.
“Something else I learned form time traveling,” he turned on the CD player, “Sometimes you gotta make your own timing.” He walked to her and took her hand. They began to dance. He looked into her green eyes. Those eyes were the first thing that made him fall for her. The eyes that burnt through his soul, and seemed to know all his inner most thoughts.
“Cut!” the screaming of the director pulled him out of his daydreaming. “That’s a wrap!”
“See ya, Ricky.”
“See ya Aly.” they hugged and went off in their own directions.

I know it’s short but I couldn’t think of anything else to write the next chapter will be longer.

“Okay cut. Take five and we’ll finish up.”
Aly walked over to the couch in the living room and started to doodle. Ricky sat down in a chair across from her. He looked away from her. She turned to a clean piece of paper and began to draw the outline of Ricky’s handsome face.
“What are you doing?” Lise Simms asked.
“Shh! I’m trying to draw Ricky, He doesn’t like me drawing him so be quiet while I draw him.”
“Okay.” Ricky turned his head when he heard them talking about him.
“You aren’t drawing a picture of me are you?”
“Of course not, not when you hate me drawing you.”
“Okay then.” He turned his head but kept him eyes on her.
“She grabbed a pillow off the couch and threw it at him just for the heck of it.”
“Thanks, Aly, I really wanted to be hit in the head with a pillow.”
“Your welcome,” she grabbed another pillow and hit him over the head with it. He grabbed another pillow and did the same to her.
“Kids, cut it out! I got a phone call from the writers and they have written the last episode of the show.”
“How can they do that? We just started the second season.” Amy Bruckner noted.
“Well they had a good idea, the Diffy’s are going back to the future and Phil and Keely finally kiss.”
“They do what?” Aly asked.
“They kiss.” Ricky and Aly looked at each other nervously.
“Well we won’t have to do the episode until we get done with all the other episodes.” Craig Anton pointed out.
“Yeah,” Amy agreed.
(Aly’s house)
“Hey Aj.”
“Hey, What’s the matter? You look upset.”
“Well they already wrote the last episode of the show.”
“Does that mean…”
“Yeah that means it’s almost over.”
“That’s sad, you might never see Ricky after the show.”
“What?”
“You know you’re going to miss Ricky when you end the show.”
“NO! I mean no, I won’t miss him, he’s not my boyfriend, he’s my friend boy, a guy friend you know we will miss each other when it’s over but I’m not in love with him…”
“Have you ever noticed that you talk a lot when you get nervous?”
“I…I don’t talk when I get nervous and I’m not in love with Ricky.”
“Aly, I never said you were.”
“Right.”

“Hey Guys, What’s up?” Amy asked walking to them.
“Nothing much, you?”
“No, you wanna grab a hotdog or something to eat?”
“Sure.” They stood up and walked out the door to the mini restraint across the parking lot where they usually ate. As they were leaving they ran into the creepy janitor, Leonard.
“Sorry Leonard,” Aly said politely. He grunted and walked back off.
“Aly,” Ricky looked at her seriously, “He knows what you did last summer.” He let a smile creep onto his face, and they all began to laugh.
“That guy needs to be locked up somewhere.” Amy pointed out.
“That’s it!” Aly screamed suddenly.
“Aly, have you been in the sun too long? Will you be okay?” Ricky asked worried.
“I’ll be fine I just thought we could have a lock-in here on set. You know just the kids. I could bring Aj too.”
“That sounds like fun I guess.” Amy said.
“We’ll have to ask the director dude first.” Ricky said.
“Why do you still call him director dud even though you know his real name?”
“Cuz, his name is hard to pronounce.”
“What ever, let’s go ask him.”
“We haven’t even go tour food yet.” Ricky said disappointed.
“Deal with it.” She grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the booth toward the director’s trailer where he rested. Amy was still there. Could they actually like each other? Maybe they do they are having a problem getting off the ground. Maybe I can help.

(One week later)
“I’m so glad director dude let us have a lock-in here.”
“Me too.” Aly agreed with Ricky.
“What did you bring with you?”
“My karaoke machine, CDs, movies, a TV, a DVD player, and a little monkey named Aj.”
“That’s not funny!” Aj screamed at her older sister.
“Actually, yes it is.”
“Aj, can I talk to you?” Amy asked.
“Sure, what’s up?” she asked leaving her sister and Ricky.
“ I think Ricky and Aly like each other.”
“You think? How blind can you be Amy? They only flirt with each other when they are around each other.”
“Okay, will you help me hook them up?”
“Of course, anything for love.”
(Two hours later)
Lightening struck and thunder rolled. All the lights went out. The door rattled. Ricky and Aly glanced nervously at the door.
“Someone’s trying to get in!” Aly screamed and grabbed Ricky’s arm.
“Aly, in case Leonard comes in and kills I want you to know…” he paused for a dramatic effect, “I broke your Ipod.”
“What?! You said that was J.P.”
“Sorry I didn’t want you to hate me.”
“Don’t worry cause; I was the one who covered your dressing room floor with shaving cream.”
“That was you? Suddenly the lights came back on. They looked at each other and noticed that they both were holding each other around the waist. They let go and sat up straight and behind them Amy and Aj slapped each other with high fives

“Let’s play some music and dance.” Amy suggested.
“Why, we don’t have enough guys to dance with all of us.” Aly pointed out.
“So, we can only play fast songs so we don’t need a partner, but if we play a slow song, we can take turns dancing with Ricky.”
“I guess.”
“Put this CD in, its Aly’s favorite CD.” AJ whispered to Amy.
“No wonder it’s her favorite CD, it’s your CD.”
“What number?”
“Eight, in a second.”
“Okay, I’ll wait.”
“No, I mean, that’s the title of the song.”
“Okay, that makes more sense.”
The soft sounds of the song played, and glided through the night air.
“Ricky, Aly, why don’t you dance together first.”
“Why not,” he took her hand and they moved slowly matching the rhythmic tempo of the songs with their foot steps. He looked at her eyes. Something inside him told him to do what he had been wanting to do since they had filmed Milkin’ it. The hug they had shared felt like more than just a regular hug to him. Ever since that hug he never looked at Alyson Michalka the same again. He moved closer to her and leaned toward her. He was about to kiss her when she pulled away.
“Ricky, I’m sorry but I don’t like you that way I just want to be friends.” She turned around and walked out of the room to another part of the set. He watched her leave and just stood and stared where he had saw her leave.

Aly ran up the stairs and sat on the top one. What have I done? He’s the best guy friend I could have, but I don’t like him that way. Maybe I should go ahead and leave.

“Aj, I’m leaving. You can stay here, let Amy’s mom drive you home.” Without waiting for a reply she went out the door into the dark damp night.

“Great,” Ricky said, “ Now she hates me because I love her.”

“You LOVE her?” Aj and Amy asked at the same time.

“Not really but I like her a lot. What do I do woman?” He asked shaking Aj’s shoulders.

“Make her jealous.”

“Jealous, how do I make her jealous if she doesn’t even like me?”

“You make her jealous by dating someone else.”

“Like who?”

“Your good friends with Anneleise from that’s so raven aren’t you?”

“Yeah we grew up together.”(This is a proven fact not the jealousy part but the growing up with Anneleise)

“Can’t you see if she will help you?”

“No, she’s dating some dude she met on the set.”

“How about…Ashley Tisdale, she’s one of our close friends, that would make Aly pretty jealous if you dated her friend.”

“I guess, but not as jealous as she would be if I dated her sister.”

“No! You are not going to pretend to date me. Deal with it. Do you want to use Ashley or not?”

“Yeah, do you have her number?”

“Yeah, I’ll call her right now.”

“Hey Ashley, we were wondering could you help us out a little bit?”

“What does she say?”

“She said yes.”

“Let me tell her what to help us with.”

“What’s up?...Cool, I need you to help me make Aly jealous…I know that but I really like her and she hates me…Yes she does…Okay we’ll meet at the party next week and start…Bye.” He hung up Aj’s cell phone and smiled, “She’s gonna do it.”

(Next week at the party)

Ricky walked into the crowded house. He spotted Aly standing by the snack table. HE didn’t walk over there even though he really wanted to. Ashley walked in the door.“Hey Ashley, let’s dance, over by the snack table.”

“Okay.” He took her hand and led her over to the snack table. They danced slowly. Ricky spotted Aly he stepped closer to Ashley. He watched her. She kept her eyes on him. HE kissed Ashley.

“What was that for?” she asked him. He nodded toward Aly. “Oh yeah, I almost forgot.”

Aly stood over by the snack table and watched Ashley and Ricky dance. Aj walked past and she grabbed her arm.

“What’s with that?” she asked pointing to the teens dancing.

“Why should you care you don’t like him remember?”

“Yeah, but I didn’t even know they were dating.”

“Your jealous aren’t you?”

“I’m not jealous, I’m curious. I’m not jealous and I don’t love him!”

“I never said you loved him.”

“Yeah, just making a point. I’m not jealous.”

“Okay.”

This might be the last chapter but I don’t know. Tell me if it has a good ending if not I will write more.

“ Phil! You're still here! Does that mean you're not going?” Aly said playing Keely
”No, no I'm still going.” Ricky replied playing Phil.

“Oh...”
“I didn't want to leave without saying goodbye for real.”
“Good-” Ricky cut her off and kissed her. She leaned into the kiss. He put his arms around her waist. Aly broke away. “I’m sorry I’m an idiot, I really like you”

“I really like you too.” He kissed her again. She ran her fingers through his hair.

“Cut it out you too. First of all, that’s not in the script and second, that kiss is too adult to be in Disney.”

“Sorry.”

“Let’s try again.” They got it right the fifteenth time because the teens kept getting a little to adult.

“It’s been fun you guys.” Craig said hugging everybody. “I guess this is good-bye.”

“Let’s hope not.” Ricky said smiling. Ricky kissed Aly and they left they left the set, Forever.

Don’t be mad cuz it is short. I thought it was a good ending I’m not saying that they will be leaving the set 4ever I want it to be renewed 2 but they don’t know that it is going to be renewed so there we go don’t be mad cuz I said 4ever.
