Chapter 15: Surprises (Part 2)
The entire way home they talked about how great the news was. As they pulled into the driveway of the Diffy household all was silent. Keely and Phil stepped out of the car and proceeded up to the house. Phil hung back as Keely opened the door and switched on the lights. A loud greeting of 'Surprise!' filled the air as a shocked Keely stared at her friends, neighbors and her mother.
"MOM!" Keely yelled, running to hug her mother. "When did you get back? How have you been?"
"This morning, and I'm great now that I'm back! Now, hw are you doing?" Mandy Teslow asked, looking at her daughter.
"I'm great mom," Keely replied as Phil interrupted and excused himself and Keely.
"Happy Birthday, Keel," he said, pulling her into his arms.
She smiled as he kissed her, resting his hand on her stomach. "Should we tell them?" she asked.
He nodded, and turned to face everyone who was chatting amongst themselves. "Attention everyone! We have an important announcement to make! This morning we found out that Keely is having a..." he paused to build up suspense. "...girl!"
All of the women in the room erupted with shouts and applause, awhile the men silently applauded, attempting to avoid the females rusing toward Keely to feel the baby kick.
As the afternoon proceeded on, Phil and Keely passed the time chatting with friends, eating several, snacks, Keely's bring much more...creative...such as picles dipped in peanut butter and M&M's, judging a karaoke contest instigated by Tia, who won, and opening several presents, including a beautiful sterling silver necklace from Phil. After a while, people started to drift out, except for the Diffy's and Keely and her mother.
"Would you like to dance?" he asked her as a slow song came over the stereo set up in the backyrad. It was by Lonestar.
Got a picture of you
I carry in my heart
Close my eyes and see it
When the world gets dark
Got a memory of you
I carry in my soul
I Wrap it close around me
When the nights get cold.
He rocked her back and forth, holding her in his arms, knowing that he wanted to stay like this forever.
If you asked me how I'm doing
I'd say just fine
But the truth is baby
If you could read my mind.
He loved her so much, and she felt the same way for him. She couldn't have been happier, ever. The one person she loved more than anything was here with her, dancing with her, loving her.
Not a day goes by
That I don't think of you
After all this time
You're still with me it's true
Somehow you remain
Locked so deep inside
Baby, baby, oh baby
Not a day goes by.
'Now, for the last part of the surprise..' Phil thought, and stopped dancing. He knelt down, taking her hand with one of his as he rummaged around in his pocket for a velvet case. "Keely... SInce the day I met you almost two years I knew that I'd always love you. Now, after everything we've been through, you are carrying our daughter, and in a few months she'll be born. Would you marry me?" he proposed
I still wait for the phone
In the middle of the night
Thinking you might call me
If your dreams don't turn out right
And it still amazes me
That I lie here in the dark
Wishing you were next to me
With your head against my heart.
"Do you really have to ask, Phil? Of course!" she said, pulling him to his feet.
If you asked me how I'm doing
I'd say just fine
But the truth is baby
If you could read my mind.
He carefully placed a silver, diamond ring on her finger and kissed her lightly
Not a day goes by
That I don't think of you
After all this time
You're still with me it's true
Somehow you remain
Locked so deep inside
Baby, baby, oh baby
Not a day goes by.
"I love you so much, Keely" he said, as the continued dancing to the song.
Minutes turn to hours
And the hours turn to days
Seems it's been forever
That I've felt this way.
"I love you, too, Phil," she replied, as the song started to fade out.
Not a day goes by
That I don't think of you
After all this time
You're still with me it's true, ohh
Somehow you remain
Locked so deep inside
Baby, baby, oh baby
Not a day goes by.
That I don't think of you...

Chapter 16: An Unexplected Arrival
Keely was now in her seventh month of pregnancy. She and Phil were at the mall looking for last minute things they had forgotten about, as well as buying Keely some more maternity clothes. They had been shopping for a while when they decided to stop and get lunch. Olive Garden was the closet, most uncrowded place, and the smells coming from the resturaunt were drawing Keely's attention, so they chose to eat there.
Aftre being seated and ordering their food they proceeded to do one of the things they had been doing a lot recently. Trying to pick a name. "How about Robin? Jamie? Leigh?" Phil listed, as their drinks arrived.
"I kind of like Leigh. How about Raileigh. My fathers name was Riley, and Raileigh would be like the female version of it. What do you think?" Keely suggested.
He smiled at her. "Okay, Raileigh it is. Now, on to middle names..." he agreed. "How about Alexandria, for the middle name?"
"Ugh...no. Her initials would be R-A-T. Keep thinking there," she teased.
"Alright, How about Morgan?" Phil suggested, as the food they ordered arrived.
"Yeah, I like that. Raileigh Morgan Diffy. At least we can cross one thing off of our list of things-to-do, she grinned as they ate their meal.
It was then that Phil noticed a man sitting three tables away from them. He was staring right at Keely. And, after several minutes of this, Phil started to get suspicious. Luckily, by now they were done eating and ready to leave. Phil left the money on the table for their server and quickly left with Keely in tow.
"What's the hurry, Phil?" she asked, wondering why they had to leave when they had planned to be there for at least another hour.
"That guy was staring at you the entire time we were eating," he explained, gesturing to the man, who had apparently followed them out of the resturaunt.
"Phil. We are in a mall, at least a hundred people are around us at any one time. No idiot would be stupid enough to approach..." she was proven quite wrong when the man did indeed approach them.
"Can we help you?" Phil asked attempting to be polite.
"Are you Keely Teslow?" the man asked, ignoring Phil.
Keely nodded, "How do you know my name? What do you want?" she asked, moving behind Phil.
Phil wrapped his arm around Keely's shoulder, giving her some comfort in this situation. "Get your hands off my daughter!" the man yelled, and pushed Phil out of the way. This action also aused Keely to fall, but Phil regained his balance in time to catch her, before she hit the ground.
"What are you doing! You idiot! If you haven't noticed that she's pregnant yet, you are completely blind!" Phil yelled, wrapping his arms around Keely once again, this time concerned for her and the baby's safety.
"Are you really my father?" Keely asked.
"Yes. Yes, Keely I am, and I missed you and your mom so much," he said.
"Prove it," Phil said, still unsure of the man. "If you are really her father why didn't you just ask us, rather than stalk us?"
"Who the heck are you? And, I'll humor you, I wasn't sure if it was my Keely. I would have looked kind of stupid if I had walked up to you and you hadn't been Keely wouldn't I?" he explained.
"Okay, one question, that only three people could possibly know the answer to. How did you get me to sleep when I was little?" Keely asked. SHe, Phil, and her father were the only ones who knew that. Not even he own mother knew.
"Lullaby, Lullaby Baby-o. And, I'll ask again, Who are you?" he answered and then gestured to Phil.
"Dad, this is Phil Diffy, he's my fiance, and the father of your grandaughter," Keely introduced them, placing her hands on her large stomach. "Phil, this is Riley, my father."
"Nice to meet you, sir," Phil said, and held out his hand, reluctantly, the man shook it back. "Ugh, Keel, we can go back home and you two can talk in private," he suggested, shifting the three bags he was carrying.
"Great idea Phil! Let's go!" Keely said as they went outside.

Chapter 17: Interventions
When they arrived back at Phils house, Keely, Phil, and Riley (her father) went into the living room to talk. Riley politely asked Phil to let him and his daughter talk alone, and he reluctantly agreed.
After a while of patiently waiting by the door, he decided to go up to his room to start attempting constuction on the crib they had bought for their daughter. By the time he had finished, an hour had gone by. This didn't completely worry Phil, 'She hasn't seen her father in thirteen years. They probably have a lot of catching up to do,' he reassured himself. He headed downstairs and found the living room empty.
"Pim, where is Keely?" he asked his sister, as she walked by.
"Dunno, I just got back. Debbie dragged me to the retirement home. Boy, old people can wear you out."
"Thanks for the help..." he said under his breath. He searched the rest of his house and came up empty, 'Okay, now I'm worried'
"Phil, are you okay?" Barbara asked, coming inside from gardening.
"Keely's gone a.w.o.l. on him," Pim butted in from the couch, Phil glared at her.
"Oh, her father practcally dragged her back to her house. They started yelling a little in there," she explained, gesturing to the living room.
"Keely..." he grabbed the levitation gloves (sorry, couldn't remember the real name for them...) and rushed out of his house and down the street to where Keely used to live. Her room was on the second floor. He slipped the gloves on and pulled himself up to the roof, unfortunately her window was closed and locked and he couldn't get iin, but, she wasn't in there anyway.
Phil got down, quickly realizing that she might be on the computer, since her mother had moved it after Keely started living with the Diffy's.
He logged onto his screen name on AOL Instant Messenger.
PDiffy: Keely? Are you okay?
SuperKawaii51190: No
PDiffy: What's wrong?
SuperKawaii51190: My dad won't let me out of the house. After you left the room we talked for a while. Then I jumped cause she kicked again, and then he went off on probably the longest rant ever about how irresponsible I am, and that he never wants me to see you again. Then your mom came in, and then my dad pretty much dragged me back here and locked me in.
PDiffy: I was over there outside your window, but it was locked and I couldn't get in.
SuperKawaii51190: I'd let you in, but as we speak he's putting locks on the windows...actually more like bars.
PDiffy: Should I just try talking to your dad?
SuperKawaii51190: Not if you want to live...
PDiffy: ...--...
SuperKawaii51190: Okay, but it might not go well...
PDiffy: I'll be right over.
PDiffy has signed off.
Just as he said, moments later he was at her doorstep, waiting for someone to answer the door.
Riley opened the door and stared evily at Phil. "What do you want?" he asked, not letting Phil enter.
"Keely. I want Keely," Phil stated as he watched her slowly come down the steps.
"No. What you have done to my daughter is completely unacceptable. You arent' coming anywhere near her again," Riley remarked, attempting to shut the door, but Phil blocked it.
"I love Keely. Nothing you can do will ever change that. Nothing can take her away from me. Her and Raileigh mean everything to me. And I'm not going to risk losing either of them, so if you care anything about your daughter you won't keep her locked up. If she wants to stay with me she can. You choose your path which left her fatherless for most of her life, I won't stoop to your level." Phil spoke confidently, looking at Keely the whole time. When he finished, she pushed her father out of the way and hugged Phil.
"I love you so much," she said, and they started walking back t his house, leaving Riley, dumbfounded after Phil's speech.
"I love you, too, Keel," he replied, kissing her lightly. "Oh, and by the way, I finished building the crib."
"Great job, Phil. Oww...that hurt..." she said, and then clutched her stomach
"Keel, are you okay? What's wrong?" he asked, going into over-protective mode.

Chapter 18: Problems (Part 1)
Riley had finally snapped out of his speechless state, and approached the two teenagers. Not to help, but to simply accomplish more yelling. "Keely Anne Teslow! You are sixteen years old and you let this...this degenerate ravage your body. What did your mother have to say about this? Get rid of it!" Riley yelled, completely oblivious to the fact that Keely appeared to be in pain.
Phil had had enough, he mached over to the six foot five man. "Look, I realize you don't like me, but Keely is my world, if you can't accept that, then stay the heck out of it! Keely has been my best friend since I got here, Almost two years ago. And why would we get rid of something we both want?" Phil exploded, glaring at this man.
"How dare you talk to me that way! I am your superior!" Riley yelled. "You rape and impregnate my daughter and pretend you actually care! What kind of worthless, scheming, idiot are you?" He yelled.
At that, Phil lost it. He drew his arm back and punched Riley square in the nose. "I didn't rape her. The man who did is in jail, where he belongs, and don't ever insinuate that I'd hurt Keely!" he said, and leaving Riley on his knees clutching at his now bloody and broken nose.
"Oww! Phil, somethings wrong," keely said, clutching her stomach again as he ran back over to her.
"Are you sure? What hurts?" Phil asked, growing more concerned.
"My stomach. Every few minutes I get these really sharp pains," she told him.
"We need to go to the hospital. Stay here, I'll be right back," he said and ran off to get his parents.
"Mom! Dad! Pim! Somethings wrong with Keely!" he yelled and grabbed the car keys.
Twenty minutes later they were at Pickford Hospital. They wouldn't let anyone back to see her. Not even Phil. He spent several minutes trying to explain the situation to them, but finally gave up when they threatened to throw him out.
One of the doctors came out to talk to Phil. The news wasn't good. "She is going into pre-term labor. There is a chance they won't survive. But since she is at Thirty five weeks they should be okay. You can come back now," Dr. Nash explained, and led Phil back to the room Keely was in.

Chapter 19: Problem (Part 2)
Phil entered Keely's hospital room, he immideately noticed how scared and nervous she looked. He moved over to the edge of the bed where he carefully wrapped his arms around her.
"Something's wrong. It's too soon for this," she cried, leaning her head against his shoulder and letting her tears fall.
"You'll be okay. I promise," he said, knowing full well that that wasn't up to him to decide.
She read his mind. "Phil, you can't promise something like that. Women die in childbirth all the time, so do their kids. There is a chance one or both of us won't make it out of this,"she reminded him, though that was not something he wanted to think about.
"Mr. Diffy, I'm going to have to ask you to leave for a while,"Dr. Nash reappeared in the room again. Reluctantly, Phil got up and kissed her forehead and rested his hand on her large belly for a moment before leaving.
It was several hours later when a nurse came and fetched him from the cafeteria
Meanwhile back wiht Keely.... "Where the freaking hell is that jerk!?" Keely cried. "He did this to me! This is all his fault!! I'm going to freaking tear his freaking head off!!!!" Dr. Nash laughed nervously, a nurse holding hand. "It's alright, we're looking for him as we speak....though I feel sorry for him when he arrives..." the good doctor said. "Keely, you know Phil loves you, he wouldn't do anything to hurt you." her mother said, entering the room "my butt!! What do you call this!?" she screamed back. "Now, now, Miss Teslow, calm down," Dr. Ryan Nash sighed. "I understand how you feel-" "Shut up, you jerk! You have no freaking clue how much darn pain Phil's putting me through!" "Shut up!" Pim yelled. "Yes, it's Phil's fault for knocking you up, but it's the baby that's putting you through hell, not him!" "First off -ga'darn it, it freaking hurts!!- I am NOT knocked up!!! Secondly, I have to -Phil, I'm going to kill you for doing this to me!!- blame it on someone I can actually beat the crap out of...at least, -Mom, it really hurts!- someone that puts up a fight!!" Keely yelled, the tears sliding down her face. Just then Phil blew through the door and stood next to Keely, taking her right hand in his. "Keels, are you alright?" "Phil, it hurts so much," she cried, leaning her head against his shoulder. "I love you, but this is hell..." -dead silence- Pim, Mrs. Teslow, and the doctors stared at her. "A moment ago she was screaming bloody murder about how she'd take Phil's head off becasue he got her pregnant, now she's all over him..." Pim leaned over to Keely's mother. "Mood swings," the doctor said. "Ah..." Pim walked back over to Keely. "Miss. Teslow, would you like to start pusjing now?" "I don't give a darn, just get this baby out'ta me!!" Keely cried, bearing down on Phil's hand as yet another contraction passed. "Alright, you're almost there...." Dr. Nash said as Keely cried out again. She was sweating a lot and Phil noticed that there was an unusal amount of blood soaking into the sheets. It scared him but before he could think anymore about it Keely grabbed his hand and pushed again. He could feel her grip lessening with each push until she was laying back on the bed, her eyes halfway open as she rocked her head back and forth. "I can't do it anymore. I can't push. Just...just let me go to sleep." She said as she clung onto his arm, pleading with him. "Keel you can't." He said as a lump formed in hid throat. "The head is out, we just need to get the shoulders out and then you are done. One more push is all we need." The doctor said as he looked up. "Ok." she said as Phil helped her sit up. In what seemed like nothing short of a miracle, she bite down on her lip, grabbed his hand and pushed with every bit of energy she could. "Congratulations, you have one, rather small, healthy, baby girl." The doctor said as he held the baby up and placed her on he mother's chest. Just as Keely reached up to touch the baby, her whole body went limp and one of the machines monitoring her started to beep feverishly. One nurse quickly picked the baby us as another jumped on the bed and started performing CPR. Phil jumped back as nurses and doctors ran around him calling out words he would never remember and yelling phrases back and forth to each other that seemed like a foreign language, time seeming to go in slow motion. One of the nurses gently pulled him towards the doors. "We're losing her!!" was the last thing he heard just before the doors shut infront of him. He stood their stunned. "Well, how's the baby? How's Keely?" Pim asked excitedly as they had kicked everyone else out a few moments prior to all of this. When she saw his face, she reached out towards him as he grabbed onto her, his knees gave way. They both sank to the ground as Mandy, Lloyd, Barbara and even Riley came up behind them. "She had the baby....she is so beautiful...but Keel....something's wrong, I could feel it." he said in between sobs as tears ran down his face. Pim didn't know what to do so she threw her arms around him and hugged him tightly to her. He continued to sob on her shoulder. "The line went flat...and she just laid there...I don't know what to do. Please God, don't do this. You can't take her from me. Take me, kill me. Just don't take her." He cried as he clung to his sister. Barb and Mandy dropped to their knees beside him and took the two in her arms as they all cied and Riley slide down the wall putting his head in his hands, Lloyd sitting next to him. Everyone's world seemed to be crumbling. They sat like that until they heard the doors open and the doctor walked out. All the color in Phil's face drained as he saw the amount of blood on the doctors outfit. He felt sick to his stomach as he tried to stand up, the others quickly following.

Chapter 20: Raileigh
"I'm sorry you had to witness that in there..." Dr. Nash started. "No, no. This can't be happening," Phil whispered as more tears fell down his cheeks. "No, she's fine, she has to be." He said angrily. "Yes, sir, she is stable. She went into shock and she lost a lot of blood, she's still somewhat anemic, but we stablized her. She'll make a full recovery. She just needs to rest, we also have her on oxyogen and fluids to help," The doctor said as he smiled warmly at everyone. Phil sighed with relief, as tears of joy slid down his face. "She's going to be okay..." the words echoed in his mind, relaxing him a little. "Where is Raileigh? Is she alright?" Phil asked. "She is in the nursery. Very lively! Must take after her mother," the doctor smled. "Can I see her?" Phil asked, now concerned for his pre-mature daughters safety. "Right this way, sir," a nurse said, escorting him to the nursery while theothers stayed behind. He wiped away another tear as his daughter was placed into his arms for the first time. As he cradled Raileigh in his arms he read the chart attatched to her crib in the neo-natal unit. Name: Raileigh Morgan Diffy Date and Time of Birth: 22:44 2nd of October 2005 Length: 17 inches Weight: 7lbs, 4 oz Parents: Legal Father: Phil Diffy Legal Mother: Keely Teslow "Can I take her to Keely?" Phil asked the nurse. The woman nodded. "She is still unconcious, but you can go see her." A moment later Phil entered keely's room, followed by a nurse busing the see-through crib that held there daugter. "Keel. Keely, it's me. I was so scared when I thought I was going to lose you. Please wake up, your baby wants to meet you," he said, holding his faughter once again. "Hey there, little one. Hopefully your mom will wake up soon so she can hold you. She's been waiting a long time to finally meet you," Phil said, as Raileigh cooed and grabbed his finger with her tiny hand, staring up into his chocolate brown eyes with her matching ones. "Phil...?" Keely mumbled, groggily from the bed a few feet away. "Hey, you're awake. I have someone who wants to meet you, here," he said, handing the pink bundle to Keely. Phil sat on the edge of the bed like he had done earlier, his left arm around Keely's shoulder and the other one holding his daughter. "I was so scared I was going to lose you." he told her as Raileigh wrapped her fingers around her mothers ndex finger, and not letting go. "I was scared , too. Phil, that I'd never get to see you again and never get to meet Raileigh," she said, kissing him gently. He smiled, and kissed her back. "I guess it's a good thing that I finished putting that crib together this morning, huh?" he teased. Keely laughed, "I love you, Phil." "And I love you, both of you," he said, looking at Keely and then at their daughter. "They said you went into pre-mature labor for two reasons. One: Your age, and two: you were under too much stress. But, when that line went flat," he said, gesturing to the machine "I was so terrified, I couldn't move, couldn't breathe, couldn't think, couldn't hear, and couldn't talk. I was so scared for you. Everything was going in slow motion," pHil was almost crying again. "The important thing is that it's over and were all alive. You, me, and Raileigh." Keely said, just as the small infat began to cry, she looked at him. Phil smiled, "Alright, alright. I don't know why she likes this, I suck at singing." he said, referring to the times when his singing had calmed both mother and child. "Apparently we think otherwise. Now, sing," Keely said, handing Raileigh to him, so he could rock her. "Lullaby Lullaby Baby-o Both of us know that it's time to go Nighty, night, night Sleepy bye-o Lullaby baby-o I love you so my baby-o So much more than you'll ever know From the top of your head to your cute little toes I love you, my baby-o Lullaby Lullaby Baby-o Both of us know that it's time to go Nighty, night, night Sleepy bye-o Lullaby baby-o" he finished singing just as their precious daughter fell asleep. He kissed her gently and laid her back in her crib as the nurse returned to take her back to the nursery. He turned to Keely and realized she, too was asleep. He sat down in the chair next to the bed and fell asleep with his hand intertwined with hers.

Chapther 21: A Day In The Life...
Phil, Keely and nine-month old Raileigh were at the beach in Ocean City, Maryland. Luckily, they still had the use of the skyak's to get there faster. The past few months had been rather...hectic. Little Raileigh had recently mastered her crawling abilities, thus driving her parents nuts when she managed to move a few feet away without them knowing it. She could stand with help, but still hadn't taken her first steps or said her first words. She touched absolutely everything to figure out what exactly it was, and she loved mimicking people, which explains why they tried to avoid Pim as much as possible.
Keely had Phil were also effected, as one would expect, with Raileigh in their lives. Looking back on the past few months they realized just how much had changed. For one, they had become more mature. Riley had also given up on keeping Phil away from his daughter, and was even prepared to walk Keely down the aisle at their wedding last month. They had also decided to homeschool themselves so they could spend as much time with Raileigh as possible. As exhausting as it was taking care of the infant it was one hundred percent worth it. But, for the next week, they were enjoying Raileigh's first vacation.
"Come here, Rai!" Phil called, as the little girl crawled to her father. "Good, girl."
At his praise she made some undistinguishable sound and raised her arms, demanding to be picked up. He complied with her request and gently pulled her into his lap. "How's she doing?" Keely asked as she sat down next to him on the blanket. Little Raileigh held out her hands to her mother, who quickly took her into her own arms, laid her down across both of their legs and started tickling the child, who started giggling. She looked up at Phil with her chocolate eyes.
"Dada..." she cooed. Keely froze, Phil's eyes momentarily bugged out of his head. Raileigh wriggled out of her mothers grasp and rolled onto her stomach, crawling towards Phil. "Dada..." she echoed, sitting down in his lap.
By now, Phil and Keely had regained the ability to blink, and looked at each other. "Did she just say...?" Keely asked in shock. Phil nodded, still speechless. "Uh, huh."
"Hey, Rai, can you say 'Dada'?" Keely asked her just to make sure.
"DADA!" she said, rather loudly.
"Great job, Raileigh!" Phil praised her, sticking his tounge out at Keely, they had been wondering what she'd say first. "Can you say 'Mama'?" he asked her.
She shook her head and mumbled something that kind of sounded like her version of 'no'. Phil laughed.
"You want to go to the pool?" Keely asked him.
He nodded and grabbed the bags that were sitting on the blanket. Keely grabbed Raileigh and they headed off towards the hotel pool. It was only five feet in the deep end and they had Raileigh in a life vest the whole time. Keely walked Raileigh around while Phil swam a little. After a minute or two of lapping the pool, he stood in front of them again. He did a handstand, his feet sticking out of the water. Raileigh, being a little mischievous, grabbed his big toe and bit it. Luckily she released it fast when Keely said 'no' and Phil came up to the surface laughing and spitting water out of his mouth. By now, Keely had also burst out laughing, and Raileigh was giggling along, too.
"S---sorry, Phil..." she managed before continuing on her laughing spree.
Once they were back in their hotel room, Keely passed out on the bed, while Raileigh crawled around and managed to climb on the bed and cuddle up in her mothers arms, quickly falling asleep. "Too many beers..." he teased, grabbing the video camera.

That's all of Never Sa Goodbye... there is a sequel... I'll post that later... now... onto my other stories...
This is There Goes my life... a one-shot song-fic to Kenny Chesney's song...
The characters are not mine...the song is Kenny Chesney's...
THERE GOES MY LIFE
All he could think about was I'm to young for this Got my whole life ahead hell I'm just a kid myself how'm I gonna raise one
Keely had just told Phil why she'd been out sick for the last week. The were in there senior year of high school and their relationship had gotten rather...serious. Now, she was pregnant, and Phil had not taken it as well as originally thought. But, the one good part in all of this, was that Phil and his family had decided to give up on going home, and for that, Phil and Keely were both grateful. Im a state of absolute shock he walked away from her, ran back to his house, and locked himself in his room.
"Phil! Please talk to me!" she said from the other side of the door, s;iding down the door frame as he sat on the other side.
"I don't know what to say, Keel," Phil replied.
All he could see were his dreams going up in smoke So much for ditching this town and hanging out on the coast Oh well, those plans are long gone
"I wanted to go to college, have a life with you. I wanted kids, but I just wasn't expecting this now." he explained his feelings to her as a single tear dripped down his face.
"So did I Phil. This was just as surprising to me. And, its happening and we can't change it." Keely told him. He let her in and wrapped her tight in his arms, trying as best he could to accept the change in his future.
And he said there goes my life there goes my future, my everything might as well kiss it all good-bye there goes my life
4 years later...
A couple years of up all night and a few thousand diapers later That mistake he thought he made covers up the refrigerator Oh yeah he loves that little girl.
Phil held his three year old daughter as she stuck another drawing of the three of them on the fridge, which was now covered in pictures of her and drawings she had done.
"Tell daddy 'goodnight' baby," Keely said, waiting at the top of the stairs as Phil set her on the ground.
Momma's waiting to tuck her in as she stumbles up those stairs she smiles back at him dragging that teddy bear sleep tight, blue eyes and bouncing curls
"Night Dada," the small child said and grabbed her teddbear off the floor. Their surprise daughter managed to climb her way up the stairs as she faced him and blew him a kiss. She had inherited her mothers blonde hair and his brown eyes as she made it into her mothers arms. "I love you, baby, goodnight." Phil said as he watched his wife and daughter disappear around the corner.
He smiles there goes my life there goes my future my everything I love you, daddy goodnight there goes my life
15 years later...
She had that Honda loaded down with Abercrombi clothes and 15 pairs of shoes and his American express he checked the oil and slammed the hood, said your good to go she hugged the both and headed off to the west coast
As they watched their baby girl, all grown up, ready to head off to college across the country, the realized just how lucky they were to have been blessed with her all those years ago. When their lives were easy, and their futures unsure. Keely helped her pack up the last of her things while Phil did one last check of the car to make sure it would get her there in one peice. "Your good to go," he said, closing the hood. She huggeed them both and got in the car, headed for the coast.
He cried there goes my life there goes my future, my everything I love you baby good-bye
Once again, he cried as the tears slid down his face, holding the woman that he loved, as he watched his baby girl drive away, to her own future where new challenges awaited her and a new life lay. "I love you, baby goodbye..." Phil said, watching as she turned the corner and drove out of sight.
There goes my life There goes my life Baby good-bye
At that, Phil woke up, lying in the safety of his warm bed, in Pickford 2005, "Wow, that was a weird dream..." he told himself and fell back asleep..

This is When Somebody Loves You...
Chapter 1: The Beginning
Keely had been staying at Phil's house for the past few days, due to the fact that her mother was out of town on a buisness trip. It was around ten a.m. when she woke up on the pull out bed on the floor of his room. Sitting up, she was surprised to find Phil's bed empty, she was usually the first one up.
"Phil? Where are you?" she asked herself, walking toward the door, ignoring the fact that she was still in her pajamas. As she descended the staircase leading into the family room of the Diffy house, she spotted Phil sitting on the couch, his head in his hands. His parents were also in the room, and Pim was sitting on the arm of the couch Phil occupied.
"Dad? Are you sure we can't stay here? I don't want to leave," she heard Phil ask.
'Did he say 'leave'? Does this mean his dad fixed the time machine? Oh, no. This can't be happening! This has to be a dream!' she told herself. The Diffy's, especially Phil, were surprised to see Keely collapse to the floor, sliding down a few steps as she went. Phil was immideatly at her side.
"Keel? Are you okay? Please, wake up!" he said, relieved to see her breathing.
"Why don't you take her back upstairs, Phil?" his mother suggested. Phil nodded, gathering her into his arms. One hand under her knees, the other supporting her back. He managed to get up the stairs and into his room wihtout causing her any bodily harm. He laid her gently on his bed and sat next to her. He ran his hand through her blonde hair, praying that she'd be okay.
"Phil? What happened?" she asked, blinking herself back into reality. "Are you going back to 2121?" she asked, hoping that it was all just a nightmare.
"You passed out. And, I don't know yet, but it looks like it. Hey, are you alright? You look really pale," he told her, cupping her cheek in his hand.
She couldn't answer him. The tears just started falling and there wasn't anything she could do to stop them. Her tight red cami-top and rolled up Winnie-the-Pooh boxer shorts catching her tears as Phil tried his best to comfort her.
"You have to leave. It's your home. You don't have to stay here, not for me, or anyone else. It's your life and I shouldn't get in the way of it," Keely cried. She stood up, the tears still streaming down her face. Just as her hand touched the doorknob, Phil grabbed her shoulder and turned her to face him.
"Don't say that, Keel. This is my home now. I have more here than I did in the future, because I have you, and, that alone is reason enough for me to stay. I want you to be in my life, I don't know what I'd do if I could never see you smile again and I promise you I will do everything I can to stay here. And, it might be easier if I had your help," he explained, still holding her.
"Phil, I..." she started, but she cut herself off.
"What? What were you gonna say?" he asked, his chocolate eyes locked on her jade ones.
"Nothing," Keely replied, a little to quickly. He started at her skeptically.
"Right...You know you can tell me anything," re minded her.
She sighed. "I know, but not this. If you do leave, what I was about to say would have made it that much harder."
"Okay... if you won't tell me now. Tell me when we decide to stay," he said, trying to be optimistic.
She smiled back at him, "Deal."
They spent the day in Phil's room watching movies, while suggesting ways that would allow Phil to stay where they both wanted him to be. At the top of their list was a. Run away together. b. simply refuse to leave, but that probably wouldnt work, or c. which was talk it out with his parents, and considering he had already tried that, left them with their first choice, a, a really good option. They would run the first chance they got.

Chapter 2: Running
Phil and Keely had managed to stay awake until the rest of the Diffy's were asleep. Then, they put their plan into motion. After packing any and all items they'd need including, clothes, cell phones, and several gadgets they managed to climb out onto the roof. They managed to get down using a nearby tree and get a skyak up and running. Keely, holding onto Phil's waist was half-asleep, but alert enough not to fall off as they flew over the country landing in a small town in Maryland.
"Now what?" she asked him as they looked around the quiet street.
"I think there's a hotel up ther a little ways," Phil said, pointing out a flashing yellow 'Super 8 Motel' sign.
They hiked the quarter mile up the road to where the main building was, and entered the office. "Hello, um... we'd like to get a room, please?" Phil asked, finding a desk clerk, surprisingly alert for the hour, in the otherwise quiet and empty room.
"Seventy bucks a night," the man said, not questioning their age or anything like that. Phil handed the man the required money and in return he gave them a key to one of the rooms.
"Thank You!" Phil and Keely said at the same time and left the office.
Keely sat down on the one full-sized bed in the room, Phil sitting next to her.
"What's wrong? Not liking this 'taking life by the moment' thing so much now?" he asked her, lying down next to her.
She smiled and sighed, holding his hand. "No, I love being here with you. It's just, how are we gonna do this? We can't live in a hotel room for the rest of our lives."
"Yeah, that's true. But, we can enjoy it for now, take everything one day at a time. And, if I'm not mistaken, it's late, and you should get some sleep," he told her, pulling her down to lay next to him.
"How can I sleep? I want to spend every minute I can with you. If I have to lose you, I'm not leaving your side for a moment," Keely told him, kissing him on the cheek, but he pulled away.
"What was that for?" he asked.
"For being the best friend I've ever had, and fighting this hard to stay here, just for me," she smiled, and she leaned in, truly kissing him for the first time.
They pulled apart, Keely leaning against his chest, the gentle lull of his even breathing causing her to drift off to sleep. As she dreamt of the future she and Phil could have had together, while comfortably locked into the protective arms of the man she secretly loved.
The next morning she woke up to the smell of bacon. It took her a minute to realize where she was before rememebering it was a hotel room on the other side of the country. Keely threw back the covers and pulled herself out of the bed. She found Phil sitting at the small table on the other side of the room with some styrofoam containers of food. He put some scrambled eggs, toast and bacon on a plate for her as she sat down next to him.
"So, what do you want to do today?" he asked her. "I asked around when I went to get the food. There's a park, movies, mall, and amusent park around here. any of those sound good?" he suggested.
"Um... lets go to the park," Keely decided as she dug through her backpack and went into the bathroom to change.
Several minutes later they were at a nearby park. It had a pond on one end and a playground area on the other. They decided to be childish and raced eachother over a made-up obstace course that went all throughout the wooden playground. (Me and my friend and her brother and sister did this...it was quite amusing...until I got kicked in the face and cut my knee like three times) Phil was several feet ahead when one of Keely's feet slipped through the ropes. She was laying on the ropes like you would a hamock, except both of her feet were between the ropes dangloing the few feet down to the ground.
"Hey, Keel,. Are you okay? That looks rather... uncomfortable," he said, stopping and running back over to her, concerned.
"I'm fine. I just want out of this crazy thing!" she said, manuvering her body so that the rope under her knees kept her up while the rest of her hung down, head touching the ground.
"Okay. i get the hint. Hold on," Phil said, carefully pulling her feet down and setting them in front of her. "Better?"
"Much. Thank You!" she said, wrapping her arms around him.
After a while they headed back to the hotel and found that they weren't alone...

Chapter 3
After a while they headed back to the hotel and found that they weren't alone...
“Who are you?” Keely asked the two men standing in front of them.
Phil grabbed her shoulder and whispered in her ear, “They’re Time Police.” He told her, tightening his grip on her hand.
“Are you Phil Diffy?” the taller of the two asked.
He nodded, “What’s it to you?”
The shorter one grabbed Phil’s shoulder and dragged him to the door. “Phil…no!” Keely cried. Phil held onto her hand as they pulled him away, “I love you, Keel,” he managed before disappearing with a bright flash.
“No…” she cried, collapsing to the ground and holding her head in her hands as the tears fell again. “This can’t be real….No…” she sobbed.
Then she remembered that all of Phil’s gadgets were still here. She grabbed the bags and found the skyak. Luckily, she had watched Phil drive it enough times to know how it worked. With the use of the afterburner she made it back to Pickford in no time flat, landing in the Diffy backyard. ‘I have to see if it’s true…’ she told herself, minimizing the skyak and stuffing it in her pocket.
“No…” she said, finding the house completely empty.

Chapter 4
-Phil POV-
After the Time Police dragged me away from Keely at the hotel, I was back in 2121. With my family. I was with the person I loved more than anything in my life and they send the Time Police after me. I haven’t spoken to them at all. I just want to be with Keely.
None of my friends understand what’s wrong with me. And I don’t personally care. I need to know what Keely’s life was like after I left. I have to make sure she got to be a news reporter, that she still got married, had a family. Even if it wasn’t with me. I had to know.
I was locked in my room yet again, placing the Giggle on my head. “Search: Keely Teslow, 2030.” I said, and no result came up. “Search: Keely Teslow, 2020” I edited my request thinking it might have a bug of some sort. Still no result. “Search: Keely Teslow 2005.” I repeated, getting worried.
Suddenly a news story came up. Someone I recognized as the Channel 8 news reporter from 2005 appeared on the screen and started talking.
“Pickford teen, Keely Teslow, was found dead in her home last night. Cause of death was apparent suicide due to an overdose. A letter was found with the victim. It reads-
I’m sorry to do this to you all, but he’s not coming back and I can’t live without him. I love you, too, Phil.
I couldn’t watch anymore of it. I threw the helmet off, sinking to the floor. ‘She killed herself because I left…. Because I broke her heart.’ I yelled at myself, before turning my stereo system on full blast to drown out my sobbing. She killed herself. I can’t stop thinking about it. The note she had written had tear stains all over it. How could I do that to her…I love her…
I listened to the song playing on the stereo.
Is anybody listening? Can they hear me when I call? I'm shooting signals in the air 'Cause I need somebody's help I can't make it on my own So I'm giving up myself Is anybody listening Listening
This must have been how Keely felt after I left, alone, miserable, lost.
I've been stranded here and I'm miles away Making signals hoping they'd save me I lock myself inside these walls 'Cause out there I'm always wrong I don't think I'm gonna make it So while I'm sitting here On the eve of my defeat I'll write this letter and hope it saves me
I wish I could have been there, to save her, I mean. So she wouldn’t have to go through this torture, I never wanted to see her cry, and I bet that’s all she did that day. And nobody helped her, or maybe she didn’t want help.
Is anybody listening? Can they hear me when I call? Shooting signals in the air 'Cause I need somebody's help I can't make it on my own So I'm giving up myself Is anybody listening Listening
If I had been there, If I hadn’t left…. If mom and dad hadn’t sent them after me, Keely wouldn’t have done this. We would have done everything we wanted to do, spend our lives together
I'm stuck in my own head and I'm oceans away Would anybody notice if I chose to stay? I'll send an SOS tonight Wonder if I will survive How in the heck did I get so far away this time So now I'm sitting here The time of my departure's near I say a prayer Please someone save me
“Mom! Dad!” I yelled, it’s the first time I’ve spoken to them since I arrived here.
“What’s wrong Phil?” mom asked, noticing the tears that were streaming down my face. I was too ticked off to notice. “Keely killed herself the day you brought me back here! Because I left her, she loved me and I left.” He yelled at them.
Is anybody listening? Can they hear me when I call? Shooting signals in the air 'Cause I need somebody's help I can't make it on my own So I'm giving up myself Is anybody listening Listening
I collapsed to the ground again, my parents standing over me. “I need her, mom. I need her in my life. I love her, so, so much, and I can’t do this without her.” I cried.
I'm lost here I can't make it on my own I don't wanna die alone I'm so scared Drowning now Reaching out Holding on to everything I love Crying out Dying now Need some help
“We’ll go back, Phil,” dad said, hearing the entire conversation because I had been yelling.
“What does it matter now, she’s gone. Keely’s dead.” I told him.
He sighed, “We’ll go back to the day we left, so you can change what happens.” Pim suggested, appearing from her room.
Is anybody listening? Can you hear me when I call? Shooting signals in the air I need somebody's help I can't make it on my own So I'm giving up myself Is anybody listening?

Chapter 5
The Diffy family landed in 2005 on the date of May 31st, the day they had originally left and of Keely’s tragic death.
Phil had researched her death thoroughly on the journey back to where he knew he didn’t have much time to get to her. She had supposedly overdosed on sleeping pills around nine o’ clock that night; it was already going on eight thirty.
As soon as the time-machine came to a stop, he jumped out and raced down the block toward Keely’s house. He stopped at the door, catching his breath momentarily before pounding on the door, but no one answered. “KEELY!” he yelled, before remembering the key in his back pocket that she had given him when they had first become friends. ‘Duh…’ he scolded himself, pulling out the piece of metal that could save Keely’s life.
He leapt up the stairs that led to her room, burst through that door and found himself face to face with her bathroom door. It was locked.
“Keely!” he yelled again, pounding on the door. “Keely! Open up, it’s me, Phil!” he begged her, throwing his weight against the door frame.
He heard sobbing from the other side of the door. “Keels open the door!” he cried, collapsing against it. He heard the handle turn and the door slid open, leaving him lying on his back on the ground, staring at her laying motionless on the floor, just out of the path of the door. He scrambled to his feet and moved next to her, an open pill bottle lying next to her, its contents scattered about the floor.
“Phil….?” She said softly.
“Yeah, Keel, it’s me. Listen, you gotta stay awake, okay? Please, for me, stay awake…” he begged her, holding her head in his hands, brushing a stray piece of hair behind her ear. Phil put one arm under hr knees and the other around her back and, in a rush of adrenaline, picked her up and maneuvered her downstairs and out the front door. He pulled out his cell and called 911, waiting on the ambulance.
It came about three minutes later and they took her away.

Chapter 6
Phil waited patiently, or as much as one would expect, in the waiting room as the doctors worked to save Keely. It was several hours before anyone told him anything related to her condition. A short man with a clearly receding hairline approached him, pulling him out of his thoughts of what he would do if he lost her…again.
“Excuse me, sir?” the doctor said, placing a hand on Phil’s shoulder.
Phil looked up at him, standing next to the man now. “Is Keely okay?”
The doctor sighed. “Ambien, the medicine Miss Teslow overdosed on, is a sedative, or sleeping pill. It is designed to relax your muscles so you can sleep. It causes your heart rate and breathing to slow considerably. The effects of it can be reversed by another drug called Annexate. We also had to pump her stomach to get some of the drugs out of her system. As of now, she is still unconcious and on a respirator to keep her breathing well and a dialysis machine to clean her blood. You can go see her.” He said, walking Phil towards the elevator.
Phil was contemplating everything that the doctor had said, not sure he understood it all, “She’s gonna be okay though, right?” he asked.
“That depends on if and when she wakes up” the older doctor said as the elevator arrived. “Your friend is on the fourth floor, room 409.”
Phil nodded and pressed the button to the correct floor. Waiting patiently as the doors closed and the elevator started moving. He son found her room and sat in the chair beside her bed. ‘She looks so peaceful,’ he thought, grabbing her hand and pulling it to his lips, gently kissing it. “Keely, I’m sorry I didn’t get there sooner…” he said, crying once again.
I pretend that I’m glad you went away
These four walls close in more everyday
And I’m dyin’ inside
And nobody knows it but me
Yeah hmmmm
He thought back to when he had been dragged away from her. Nobody in his family knew that he loved Keely like he did, how could they, he’d never told them. But, he needed someone to blame for his own stupidity. For the last two years he had been hiding his feelings for her. He wasted so much time he could have spent with her in his arms, acting as though she was nothing more than a friend. He’d been so stupid…
Like a clown i put on a show
Paint it real even if nobody knows
And I’m crying inside
And nobody knows it but me
Yeah hmmm
He’d acted like he didn’t care that she was dating Tanner, or that she went to that dance with Owen, but he did. Owen was one of his friends and the second he found out he wanted to strangle Owen, especially since he was one of very few people he’d told about how he felt about Keely.
Now, it might be too late to tell her that she meant everything to him, so, he figured now would be a good time to start. “Keels, I don’t know if you can hear me or not, but I have to tell you something.” He said, still holding her hand to his chin.
Why didn’t I say
The things I needed to say
How could I let my angel get away
Now my world is just a tumbling down
I can say it so clearly
But you’re no where around
“I never really told you this, but I figure now might be my last chance. Ever since we met I knew we were meant to be together, like us getting stuck here was supposed to happen. You are my best friend, the only one I trusted enough to tell my secret to, and you never once compromised it. I love everything about you, everything you are, and everything you aren’t. I love you so much and I don’t know what I would do without you in my life. And, I hope you know how much I love you, Keels” he said, finishing his little speech.
The nights are lonely and the days are so sad
And I just keep thinking about the love that we had
And I’m missing you
And nobody knows it but me
Mm ya mmm ya ya
Keely mumbled something in her sleep, rolling so she faced Phil. He gently wrapped his arms around her, kissing her forehead softly. “I’m not leaving you again, Keel,” he said.
I carry a smile when I’m broken in two
And I’m nobody without someone like you
And I’m trembling inside
And nobody knows it but me
Yeah yeah yeah
He sat there all night, lonely without her to talk to, as the sun rose, the birds singing happily outside, “How can they be in such a good mood?’ he thought, shifting in the chair to stretch. He looked outside, watching as the new day started for everyone else as he sat patiently by Keely’s bedside, praying to God that she’d be okay.
Lie awake it’s a quarter past 3
I'd scream it at night if I thought you'd hear me
Ya my heart is calling you
And nobody knows it but me
Baby
Night was falling again by the time it happened. It was just after three am, Phil drifting off in that uncomfortable chair yet again. He heard a soft mumble and opened his eyes. The sight that greeted him almost made waiting the last two days worth it. “Phil…?” her quiet voice muttered weakly.
“Yeah, Keel’s, it’s me. You’re gonna be okay,” he promised her, hugging her tightly.
“I’m so sorry!” she cried, burying her head into his chest. He shifted so he was sitting on the bed beside her.
“Keel Keels, I’m the one that should be sorry, I almost didn’t get to you in time, I was to stupid to realize what I put you through,” he said.
How blue can I get?
You could ask my heart
But like a jigsaw puzzle it’s been torn all apart
A million words couldn’t say
Just how I feel
A million years from now you know I’ll be loving you still
“Phil?” she asked, he looked down at her. “I love you too”
Phil smiled, gently lowering his lips to hers. “You heard me?”
She nodded, “Yes. Yes I did, and, had I not been so out of it, I would have done this…” she said and gently kissed him.
The nights are lonely
And the days are so sad
And I just keep thinking about the love that we had
And I’m missing you
And nobody knows it but me
“Will you hold me?” she asked, scooting over so he could lay next to her.
He wrapped his arms around her, never planning on letting go of her.
Yeah yeah oooooooo yeah ay ooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooo
The next morning they released Keely from the hospital, and since her mother was out of town on a business trip and couldn’t be reached, the Diffy’s offered to let her stay with them.
“So, you guys decided to stay here?” she asked happily as she sat next to Phil at Dinner.
Barb nodded, “We couldn’t really keep Phil alive locked when he was locked in his room, we had to stick food under the door just to get him to eat.” She laughed. “He was absolutely miserable without you, Keely, and we couldn’t keep doing that to him. And Pim has some friends and so do Lloyd, Curtis and I. We all made friends and I personally like it better here.” She finished.
Nobody, nobody but me
Phil smiled, ‘Nobody knows how much I missed Keely’
Tomorrow morning I’m hitting the dusty road
Gonna find you where ever
Ever you might go
And I’m gonna unload my heart
And hope you come back to me
“Come with me,” Phil said, taking Keely’s hand after they finished dinner. She smiled, following him out the front door and towards the small park around the corner.
She sat down on the swing as Phil stood behind her, gently pushing her. “What are we doing Phil?” she asked, looking over her shoulder at him.
“I just wanted to be with you” he said, smiling sheepishly as he stopped the swing and gently kissed her. “I love you,” he said.
Ya said when
“And I love you, too… What’s that behind your back?” she asked, realizing he was holding something.
The nights are lonely and the days are so sad
And I just keep thinking about the love that we had
And I’m missing you
And nobody knows it but me
(And thats where its been for several weeks.... at a cliffie.... I'm kinda stuck on it.... all my fics really...)

This one is called Heaven's Coming...
Chapter 1: The Accident
Phil was driving Keely home from the movies where they had been for the last few hours, the roads were quiet and dark as the rain pitter-pattered across the windows. Both teen-agers were beaming with excitement since they had finally admitted their love for one another that night, and shared their first kiss.
I've never met someone Quite like you Sorry for what I've done And put you through We were together that night When it all went wrong Heaven's coming
Keely slid her hand over his, holding it tightly. He looked over at her and smiled, his eyes, reflecting his love toward her. This momentary distraction took his eyes off the roadlong enough for some creature to run into the path of their car, which Phil saw out of the corner of his eye. He swerved to avoid it and lost control, steering them over the center line and off the road.
She moves over and slides Her hand in mine The wheels slip and we cross The double lines We were together that night When it all went wrong Heaven's coming
The car flipped and rolled until it landed face-up again, Phil and Keely both injured and knocked-out from the force as the car continued to slide, before coming to a complete stop in a ditch on the side of the road.
Don't cry tonight I know that it will be alright Don't cry tonight Your still with me
Phil blinked himself back to consciousness, looking around as best he could from where he lay in themud beside the car. “Keely?” he mumbled, panicking. He saw her figure moving inside of the car. He saw her move and step out of the car, stopping dead when she saw him. She screamed as his eyes closed again.
We finally came to a stop On the other side You were still in the car So where was I? Somebody wake me up I swear I must be dreaming This can't be happening I feel her screaming In the end
His eyes felt heavy as he tried to move and found himself unable to. She approached him, sinking to her knees beside him. “Phil?” she asked, running her hand over his wet, bruised, and bloody cheek. He coughed, trying to answer her.
Don't cry tonight And I know that it will be alright Don't cry tonight Your still with me Your still with me
Then his eyes shut, darkness closing in as he found it difficult for the air to pass into his lungs, the pouring rain stinging his skin as it fell in sheets. He felt her arms wrap around him, comforting him before he faded into nothing. “Goodbye,” he coughed.
“Phil! No!” she begged, as she heard sirens approaching. “Hold on, Phil. Please, for me, stay awake a few more minutes.” Keely was crying and shiveringa s she clutched his shirt, holding him tightly as the ambulance pulled up.
I can't breathe I still feel your arms Around me If I dream Your still with me...
That was three weeks ago, and ever since then, Phil had been in a coma, and they were getting ready to take him off the life-giving equipment that was keeping him in a vegetable like state. They said, even if he woke up, he wouldn’t live, the injuries he had sustained during the accident were too severe, and he’d never regain a normal life. He’d live it in pain, paralysis, and with the risk of possible brain-damage from the numerous flat-lines, that had occured during his time in the coma.
Now, I'm older, still lonely But your by my side I can't help but get choked up, Break down, and cry I held your last breath in my hand But I let it go God, forgive me!
Phil was battling himself, in a fight to wake up, just to see her one last time. He had heard her; he just couldn’t get to her as his brain forbid him from opening his eyes. He knew she had not once left his side, always holding his hand, and crying. He hated to see Keely cry, if he could just make her smile one last time…
“Don’t cry…” he whispered, through the tracheal tube, forcing his eyes to open and his mouth to follow suit. Her eyes lit up in surprise, as a smile immediately appeared on her face. Keely leaned over and kissed his lips, hugging him. “I love you, Keely” he said before the machine monitoring his heart emitted a high-pitched, shrill sound filling the room, causing doctors torush in,in a frenzy of confusing medical terms, needles, and blue lab coats, leaving Keely’s heart fluttering.
