For those of you who may not have much experience w/ posting images on a forum, here are some basic steps on how to do it: 1. First, copy & paste the following code into your post or signature: [img]URL TO IMAGE[/img] 2. Right-click on the image you want to display 3. Click on Properties 4. Highlight the URL to the image 5. Making sure that the entire URL to the image is still highlighted, right-click on it & click Copy. 6. Paste the URL you just copied into your code, replacing "URL TO IMAGE", making sure that you leave every other part of the code intact. 7. Preview or send your post (for a signature, just save your changes) A faster way to do this (posts only) would be to click on the button up @ the top. If you have any questions, feel free to post a reply.

Does anyone know how to upload a picture from your own picture files (as in on your desktop after editing it) and putting it onto the site?

To add a picture to any site, you first need to upload it to a site like www.photobucket.com so that you can get a URL for it, then follow the instructions @ the top of this thread (for adding pics to posts & sigs).

Is there anything specific you're confused about, or is it just that you don't understand the instructions?

Umm...I can't find that icon that you used in your instructions. Can you tell me where to find that?

You can't see it in Quick Reply or when creating your signature, but when you click on "Reply" or "Quote", there's two rows of gray buttons. The image tag button is the fourth button from the left in the second row.

Well, you got part of it right. haha If you just put in the URL, a link to the image will show up in your signature instead of the actual image itself. Follow the directions in the first post exactly & you should have no problem getting the image to show up in your sig.

well Im probebly becoming annoying by now but ive got another question. That code that you have to first copy and paste, and then you copy and paste the URL, to replace it does that mean 'delete' it? because im only getting a code at the bottom, and I think that is where im messing up
