Debbie is also trying to sign up students to help her bake 50,000 cupcakes for the needy, but everybody signs up for Pim's event instead, so she threatens Pim into helping her. Later, as Phil is leaving the house to go to the party, Lloyd has him check on something in a cybernetic catalog & Phil sees a picture of a cyborg that looks a lot like Debbie: The "Sugar & Spice" 800. Lloyd doesn't think that it could possibly be Debbie Berwick until he remembers that all the "Sugar & Spice" 800s were sent back to the 21st century because of a major malfunction - their intended goodness had turned into evil. Back @ school, Phil & Keely show up @ the party in their two-headed hockey player costume, only to find that the gym is totally empty. As if that wasn't strange enough, they smell something like baked goods & decide to go investigate. Following the sound of a drumbeat into a classroom, they find Pim & the rest of the students trying to make Debbie's 50,000 cupcakes. To try to keep Debbie from overhearing anything, Pim asks them for help by using words she had frosted on some cupcakes. Phil & Keely leave to try to get help, but are confronted & chased all around the school by Debbie. Ending up back in the classroom, Phil comes up w/ an idea when Debbie says that she was starting to get overheated because of all the stress. Remembering what Lloyd had said about how the cyborgs had a problem w/ overheating, he encourages everybody to start eating cupcakes. As he expected, Debbie overheats & melts into a big black puddle of goo & Halloween is saved. Goofs & Fun Facts:This is the first episode to include a blooper reel @ the end. When Phil & Keely rip the jersey that they're wearing & run in separate directions, you can clearly see that Phil's half of the shirt & Keely's half are velcroed together.

Keely thinks it's really cool & wants to try it on herself to see what she'd look like when she's older, but Phil doesn't let her, so she takes it w/o him knowing. Phil thinks she looks incredible, but gets mad @ her when he realizes she took the New-Ager. Kay Panabaker (Debbie Berwick) J.P. Manoux (Curtis) Alice Geczyn (Alice De Luca) Terry Rhoads (Mayor De Luca) Gregory "Gregg" Hinton (Cleo Washington) Sterling Rice (Catherine)
Futuristic Gadget:
Wizard Summary:While @ his locker talking to Keely, Phil suddenly notices a girl down the hall. He's instantly attracted to her & asks Keely who she is. Keely tells him that her name is Alice DeLuca, she's the mayor's daughter, & she speaks French & likes horses & karate. Armed w/ this info, Phil shows up @ karate club & tries to impress her, but accidentally gets knocked out by her instead. When he tells her that he also speaks French & likes horses, she's amazed @ how much they have in common & asks him to go to the mayor's ball w/ her. He tells Keely about it & she's really happy for him - until he mentions that his date w/ Alice is going to be @ the same place where she'll be bussing tables for a catering service. At the ball, the green-eyed monster of jealousy rears its ugly head when Keely sees Phil w/ Alice. Phil, on the other hand, has problems of his own. Pim had broken the wizard & until Lloyd could fix it, the last thing that was programmed on it will keep happening - which unfortunately for Phil happens to be the brain swap between him & Curtis earlier that day. He keeps switching places w/ Curtis throughout the night, causing him to make a complete fool of himself & a total chaos of the ball. Phil (in Curtis's body) finally helps Lloyd fix the wizard, & back in his own body, he decides to tell Alice the truth. She doesn't take it very well, but Phil knew he deserved what he got for lying to her & that she deserved better than that. To Keely's surprise, he asks her to dance w/ him & she couldn't be happier. Pim's annoyance of Debbie Berwick causes her to break her locker door right off its hinges & she gets in trouble for it. At home, Barb suggests taking a yoga class to help calm her down. Pim protests & in the process, breaks the wizard. The looks on her parents' faces puts an end to her protesting & she agrees to go to yoga class w/ Barb, only to discover that the yoga teacher is none other than Debbie Berwick. During one of the sessions, Debbie makes Pim so mad that she tells her they were never friends & Debbie is crushed. Barb tells Pim that she should give Debbie a chance, so she writes up a contract w/ a bunch of conditions & tells Debbie that she'll be her "new best friend" only if she signs it.

"Double Trouble"
U.S. Premiere: January 1, 2005
Writers: Tom Burkhard & Matt Dearborn
Director: Joanna Kerns
Guest Stars:
J.P. Manoux (Curtis) Yeardley Smith (Mandy Teslow) Rachel Snow (Jerry) Jeff D'Agostino (Myron)
Futuristic Gadget:
Invisi-spray Summary:Phil & Barb notice Pim making lunch for some kid named Jerry @ school & automatically think she has a crush on someone. But when Phil uses the Invisi-spray to spy on her & find out who her mystery crush is, he finds out that "Jerry" is actually a girl who bullied Pim into making her lunches for her. Phil tells Pim to stand up to the bully & it works...until Jerry's older brother Myron finds out about it & starts bullying Phil. Phil takes his own advice & stands up to Myron, believing that bullies are just all talk & no action, but soon realizes that's not the case w/ Myron. After talking to his mom about it, he decides to take her up on her advice & find a "kinder side" to Myron. He bribes Jerry into telling him if Myron has ever been nice to anyone, & she tells him about a pet rabbit he once had. When it comes time for his "showdown" w/ Myron, Phil shows up w/ a rabbit, but it escapes out the window. They both race outside & find it up in a tree, & Myron uses Phil as a stepladder to try to reach it. Pim, meanwhile, uses the Invisi-spray & rams into Myron, knocking him down just as he gets the rabbit out of the tree. She then tries to use a hose on him, but Phil stops her. After Myron leaves w/ his rabbit, Pim becomes visible again & Phil thanks her for sticking up for him. Pim, being her usual bratty self, ruins their lovely "brother/sister moment" by soaking him w/ the hose. Lloyd gets a visit from Keely's mom, Mandy, who tells him that someone has been stealing her lawn ornaments. After finding out that Curtis was stealing them, Lloyd has him help put the ornaments back on her lawn, & learns that the reason Curtis was stealing them was because he was just lonely & needed friends. Fun Facts: This was the first episode aired where there is a definite difference in one of the scenes. This is because they got rid of the idea of Barb being half robot, so they had to reshoot certain scenes like the one in this episode where Phil is talking to her in the backyard. His hairstyle is way different & he looks older, the same look he had for Disney Channel's New Year's Eve House Party. Apparently the original scene had the same dialogue, but it had Barb trying to make the sculpture w/ just her head while Phil is talking to her about Myron. "Double Trouble" was voted to be the first new Disney Channel episode aired in 2005. Airing-wise, this is Keely's mother Mandy Teslow's first appearance, but in production order, it's actually her second appearance.

Brenda Song (Tia) Steve White (Mr. Smythe) Marshall Allman (Roger) G.J. Callahan (Officer Cobb) Suzanne Krull (Miss Winston)
Co-star:
Carlie Westerman (Lana)
Futuristic Gadgets: Cinespecs Milk Engine Summary: Phil & Keely use a milk engine for their science fair project (a voice-activated pudding machine), but Phil later realizes that that was a big mistake. Since the milk engine wasn't invented until 2075, Lloyd fears that it will uncover the family's secret & tells Phil that they'll have to leave Pickford to avoid being discovered. Phil protests, but Lloyd doesn't see any other way to keep from being found out. After some "wise advice" from Curtis, Phil decides to try steal the milk engine from school that night, but he & Keely have a hard time trying to get past the security guard until Lloyd shows up & distracts him. Removing the milk engine causes their science fair project to bomb, but to Phil & Keely, it was a small price to pay. Pim tries to take the easy way out in her creative writing class by using her Cinespecs to give the play-by-play of her favorite movie from 2121, Galacta Girl, but it backfires when the glasses break. As punishment, her mom makes her write "a no less than 50-page essay" on a sappy love movie. Fun Facts: This is the second episode aired that shows a difference in one of the scenes (the scene was reshot in November 2004). Phil's hairstyle is again different & Curtis is actually speaking broken English instead of his usual caveman banter. First aired on the Family Channel in Canada on February 18th, 2005 Kay Panabaker (Debbie Berwick) is listed as a guest star in the end credits even though she did not appear in this episode.
