"Your Cheatin' Heart" U.S. Premiere: June 18, 2004 Writers: Douglas Tuber & Tim Maile
Director: David Kendall Guest Stars: Kay Panabaker (Debbie Berwick) Brenda Song (Tia) Chris Hunter (Tanner Kirkpatrick) Rory Thost (Bradley Benjamin Farmer) Ted Davis (Mr. Ginsberg) Ben Murray (Mercer)
Co-star: Tyler Tuione (Sumo Wrestler)
Futuristic Gadget:
Instamorph Summary: Keely gets asked out by Tanner Kirkpatrick, but Phil doesn't try to hide the fact that he thinks Tanner's just a flirtatious pretty boy. One day while Phil's in drama class, a girl stops by & asks the teacher to give Tanner a message, & Phil is suspicious. Using his instamorph to investigate, he discovers that Darcy isn't the "little 8-year-old girl from Bulgaria" Tanner claimed to be tutoring in reading, after all. He tries to tell Keely, but because of all the jokes he had made about Tanner, she accuses him of being jealous & doesn't believe him. Later, while she & Tanner are reading Romeo & Juliet in drama class, Darcy stops by again & Keely finds out the truth for herself, realizing that Phil was right & was only trying to protect her. Pim is more than annoyed by Debbie Berwick & Bradley Benjamin Farmer, so she comes up w/ the idea to break the happy couple up by telling Debbie that Bradley has the hots for her, only to have Debbie ask her to teach her how to be just like her so that Bradley would be more interested in her again. Pim uses this to her advantage, thinking that the "new & improved" Debbie will turn Bradley off. Her plan ultimately backfires, though, when Bradley thinks that Pim was only doing it because she liked him & was trying to get his attention. Goofs & Fun Facts: The title of this episode comes from the old country song "Your Cheatin' Heart" by Hank Williams. When Phil & Tia are sitting at the little table outside the house doing their homework, Keely comes running over to the table to tell them about Tanner. When she sits down, you can see her knock some purple papers off the table, but the next time they show it, the papers are back on the table. When Phil is telling Keely that she might be taking the relationship w/ Tanner too fast, the second button on his shirt is closed & open in several shots.

"Unification Day" U.S. Premiere: June 18, 2004 Writers: Dan Fybel & Rich Rinaldi
Director: Tim O'Donnell Guest Stars: Kay Panabaker (Debbie Berwick) Brenda Song (Tia) Evan Peters (Seth) Richard Augustine (Doorman) Shedrack Anderson (Chip Croston) Daniele O'Loughlin (Ms. Navin)
Futuristic Gadgets:
Laser Squash Spray Food Summary:The Diffys are used to celebrating Unification Day (a holiday in the future celebrating the unification of all seven continents & the establishment of world peace), but when Seth's "Bathroom Boy" status gets Phil, Keely, & Tia invited to "the party of the year" thrown by a popular 11th grader, Phil doesn't understand why a holiday that won't even be in existence for another 90 years is so important to his dad now that they're living in the past. Much to Lloyd's disappointment, Phil goes to the party instead of playing Laser Squash w/ him & having Unification Dinner w/ the family, but when he gets there, he & Seth aren't even allowed in because they're not on the list. Seth is eventually allowed into the party to fix a "narly situation" in the bathroom, & Phil is later promised to be let in if he can get Seth a plumber snake, so he runs home to get it. As he's leaving to go back to the party, he runs into Lloyd. After playing 6 games of laser squash together, Phil finally learns why Unification Day is so important to his dad - spending time w/ family. Phil goes back to the party w/ the snake, but ends up inviting Keely to go back w/ him to have the traditional Unification dinner w/ him & his family instead. Pim is caught cheating on a cooking assignment in home ec class & is forced to cook an entire meal by herself. Since it's Unification Day, she tries making Unification metaloaf, a meatloaf consisting of seven foods from all seven continents. After trying to do it the hard way, she tries to take the easy way out by using a can of spray Unification meatloaf, but ends up w/ more meatloaf than she bargained for... Goofs & Fun Facts:Seth's bathroom attendant name tag says "Hey You". When Pim is looking in the cabinet for the can of meatloaf, all the cans look the same & have the same kind of tops except the Unification meatloaf can. Judging from the size of Lloyd's butt & the fact that they had been eating the meatloaf for three months straight, you would think that the family would've noticed the fact that his butt was "starting to retain meatloaf" sooner than that...lol

"Meet the Curtis"
U.S. Premiere: June 18, 2004
Writers: Dan Fybel & Rich Rinaldi
Director: Neal Israel
Guest Stars:
J.P. Manoux (Curtis/Mr. Hackett) Kay Panabaker (Debbie Berwick) Carlie Westman ("Neckbrace" Lana)
Co-stars: Nadia Lewis ("Silent" Judy) Curt Doussett (Yanoosh Ing) Linda Porter (Grandma Berwick) Summary: The Diffys are rudely awakened in the middle of the night by some noises in the kitchen. After a thorough search, they find nothing & go back to bed, only to find the intruder hiding out in Barb & Lloyd's bed - a caveman who had stowed away on their time machine during their visit to the prehistoric times. Phil names him Curtis & even though Lloyd is afraid that they'll be found out for having a caveman, he allows Phil to keep him. Phil has a great time goofing around w/ Curtis, but the fun ends when he shows up @ Phil's school & bites Mr. Hackett on the leg. Lloyd finds out about it when it's aired on the news, & decides it's time to let Curtis go. He, Phil, & Keely take Curtis to Feek Meadows, but Lloyd ends up getting lost & Phil & Keely look to Curtis for help. They eventually find him & Lloyd changes his mind & lets Curtis stay w/ the family after all...as long as he promises to stay in the garage & not chase the neighbor's cat. Pim gets invited to Debbie Berwick's sleepover party, but when she find's out that it's nothing more than a nerd snorefest, she tries to escape under everyone's noses...literally! Goofs & Fun Facts:Play on words: the title of this episode is a pun of the 1998 Disney movie Meet the Deedles. Phil says his dad never takes of his belt sack, but in other episodes he doesn't have it on. When they're searching for Phil's dad, they find two socks, but later you see that he's only missing one. Curtis is supposed to be a prehistoric caveman, yet he has perfectly straight white teeth...do they have orthodontists & whitening toothpaste in the prehistoric times? lol

"Phillin' In"
U.S. Premiere: June 18, 2004
Writer: Ellen Guylas
Director: David Kendall
Guest Stars: J.P. Manoux (Curtis) Larry Udy (Officer Bunkley)
Co-star: David Glowacki (Keith)
Futuristic Gadgets:
Skyak (& Afterburner) Holographic Tracking Device Summary:While Phil & Lloyd are racing their Skyaks, Lloyd pulls out the ultimate Skyak luxury: the afterburner. Lloyd knows how bad Phil wants to use it, so he makes him a deal: Phil can borrow the afterburner if he can prove that he's responsible by watching Pim & taking care of the house while he & Barb take a weekend road trip. Pim overhears the conversation & does her best to wreck Phil's chances of getting the "precious afterburner", only to end up in a wreck herself - literally. To her surprise, Phil & Keely come to her rescue, & in return, she helps Phil out by finishing the rest of the chores. The rest of the weekend goes smoothly & Phil is rewarded w/ the afterburner. During their road trip, Lloyd & Barbara get stopped for speeding & make the cop so mad that he gives both of them $50 tickets. Apparently they don't give speeding tickets in the future, because they think that the tickets are to a play or musical. Goofs: When Pim blows the leaves & Phil & Keely stand up, Keely has one leaf stuck to her shirt, but when the camera shoots away from her & back, she has 3 leaves stuck to her shirt, then it's back to one again. After Curtis gets a bath & Keely puts the bows on his head, one minute he has three, then two, then back to three again. When Curtis grabbed Keith (the water guy), Phil could've just asked him to get the key in the kitchen for them. When Pim gets on the skyak, her helmet strap is twisted, then a second later it isn't. When Phil & Pim are climbing down the cliff, Pim has one foot down when Phil says, "Hey, Pim!", then they cut to Phil's view & her feet have moved.

While there, he meets Crash, who turns out to be Tanner's younger brother. Tanner finds out about Phil going to 2nd grade through Crash & threatens to embarrass him w/ the evidence (a videotape of him from a camera that was taped to Crash's helmet) during the next morning announcements. J.P. Manoux (Curtis) Jeff D'Agostino (Myron) Suzanne Krull (Miss Winston) Charles Duckworth (Frankie) Kelli McCarty (Miss Mayberry) Daniele O'Loughlin (Teacher)
Futuristic Gadgets:
Skyak Wizrad Synopsis: When a little joyride slide down a school hallway lands Phil in detention, he's persuaded by fellow detentionees Myron & Frankie to hang out w/ them @ the upcoming school dance. But then Frankie makes the comment that Phil can't go because of Keely, & they start ragging on him about how much time he spends w/ her. Realizing that he maybe was spending a little too much time w/ Keely, he mentions it to her & tells her that he wants to hang out w/ the guys @ the dance instead, but she gets offended. At the school dance, Phil shows up w/ the guys & sees Keely there, but she of course gives him the cold shoulder. Frankie brings a bull to the dance as a prank, but then realizes that it's the wrong bull & Phil ends up having to use the wizard to turn it into a harmless black kitten to keep it from attacking Myron. He also has to zap Myron unconscious while he tries to think of a logical explanation about what happened. When Keely finds out how much trouble Phil is in, she puts aside her hurt feelings to help her best friend. Taking Myron back to Phil's house, Phil zaps him conscious again & they manage to convince him that they were all abducted by aliens. After he leaves, Phil & Keely talk & she finally realizes that Phil needs other friends than just her to hang out with. Pim gets yet another tardy & Miss Winston (who was transferred to the 7th grade) decides that it's time to have a parent/teacher conference to discuss the matter. Pim tells her that they can't come to the school, so Miss Winston says that she'll just meet them @ their home instead. Desperate, Pim eventually comes up w/ a plan to have Curtis pretend to be her dad & creates a Hawaiian luau in the backyard for her parents' anniversary celebration to keep them out of the house. Just when she thinks she's gotten away w/ her scheme, her parents come in & everybody finds out what she was up to. As punishment, Lloyd & Barb make her sleep in her classroom to make sure she's not late for anymore classes. Goofs & Fun Facts:When Myron is sliding & Keely stares after him, she says to Phil, "I left my heels in your lock...er...", but her lips aren't moving as she says this. In the scene where Myron is in the hallway after Phil zaps him w/ the wzrd, Phil puts sunglasses on him. In the first few shots, they're straight, then in the next shot they're crooked & hanging below his ears, then they're straight again. In the same scene, Myron's arms are down, but right before Miss Mayberry shows up, they're crossed. Then in the next shot they're down again. When Phil, Keely, & Myron are in Phil's room, Keely's pink sweater is buttoned & unbuttoned in several shots.

"My Way"
U.S. Premiere: July 9, 2004
Teleplay: Rachelle Romberg
Story: Tim Maile
Director: Savage Steve Holland
Guest Stars: Rory Thost (Bradley Benjamin Farmer) Stephanie Sawyer (Tara Schrader)
Co-star: Masasa (Ms. Levy)
Futuristic Gadget:
Wizard Synopsis: Keely wants to try out for the Prince or Princess of Pickford Pop talent competition, but there's just one little tiny thing standing in her way - major stage fright. When she was in the 3rd grade, she was in a Thansgiving Day pageant, but one look @ all the people in the audience & she choked - literally. To make matters worse, her rival Tara Schrader won't let her live it down. Keely tries out for competition & makes it - but only because Phil zapped her w/ the wizard. When Keely finds out about it, she panics, knowing that she can't cheat in the actual competition. Phil comes up w/ the idea to help her overcome her stage fright by inviting her friends & neighbors to the Diffys' house to hear her sing. After sending everyone home because Keely kept saying that there were too many people, she realizes that she's totally comfortable performing as long as she can focus on Phil. At the competition, she tries to focus on him in the audience, but the lights are too bright, so Phil shrinks himself down & climbs up on her microphone. Keely gives a great performance, but only wins third place. In spite of that, she still feels like a winner because she had overcome her stage fright. Pim & Bradley become co-parents of a bag of flour as part of a class assignment on raising a baby. Goofs & Fun Facts:At the beginning of the episode, Keely's ring switches from her middle finger to her index fiinger in a few shots. Her hands also switch from being crossed & holding her purse. The "Pumpkin Song" Keely sings is to the tune of the Australia's unofficial national anthem "Waltzing Matilda". The man & woman in the audience during Keely's flashback of her 3rd grade performance are the same man & woman in the audience during Debbie's performance in "Pheremonally Yours". How did Phil manage to not get hurt when he fell off the microphone since it was such a long distance w/ him being shrunken?

"Daddy Dearest" U.S. Premiere: July 23, 2004 Writer: Adam Lapidus Director: Tim O'Donnell Guest Stars:
J.P. Manoux (Curtis) Kay Panabaker (Debbie Berwick) Robert Clotworthy (Dr. Genaro) Masasa (Ms. Levy)
Co-stars: Lindsey Parks (Julie) Andrea Panda (Kid)
Futuristic Gadget: Replicator Summary: Phil & Pim are embarrassed enough by Lloyd's passion for singing American folk songs, but when he shows up @ their school, the situation goes from bad to worse. After stopping by Pim's class to drop something off & embarrassing her in the process, Lloyd literally runs into Phil's music teacher, Ms. Levy, who finds out about his love for American folk songs & invites him to sing them in her class. To Phil's horror, Lloyd shows up in class the next day decked out in hillbilly garb & combined w/ his "dying pig" laugh, Phil wonders if it's actually possible to die of embarrassment. The class finally ends & Phil's embarrassment is over - or so he thinks. Ms. Levy loved his performance in class so much that she asks him to perform the folk songs @ the next school assembly. Desperate, Phil & Pim try to think of a way to keep him from performing & embarrassing them even further w/o hurting his feelings. Keely comes up w/ the idea to use the replicator gadget to teach a replicated Lloyd how to be cool & have him perform @ the assembly instead. Unfortunately, they do too good of a job & the replica starts dissing Lloyd & his folk songs right before the concert. The real Lloyd shows up & finds out what they were up to, & after learning that maybe their dad wasn't so uncool after all, they encourage him to do his performance. Some kids start ragging on him, though, & Phil & Pim help him out by performing along w/ him. When Curtis eats too many Yicky Sticks & gets a toothache, Barb is forced to take a caveman to the dentist. Goofs & Fun Facts: When Lloyd replicated Pim and Phil, they were holding instruments, but their replicants didn't have instruments. When Phil is telling his dad in the cafeteria about how many people he would be performing in front of @ the assembly, a faraway view of him shows his necklace is straight, but when it switches to a close-up, the clasp is in front. The next faraway shot shows his necklace is straight again. When Curtis complained that his tooth hurt he said that it hurt on the left side, but when he was @ the dentist, the dentist touched his tooth on the right side.

"Pheremonally Yours" U.S. Premiere: August 6, 2004 Writer: Danny Kallis Director: Tim O'Donnell Guest Stars:
Kay Panabaker (Debbie Berwick) Brenda Song (Tia) Sarah Godshaw (Marla Beauregard) Rory Thost (Bradley Benjamin Farmer) Evan Peters (Seth Wosmer)
Co-stars: Ted Davis (Mr. Ginsberg) John O'Brien (Beefeater)
Futuristic Gadget: DNA Scrambler Summary: Phil rescues a "damsel in distress" southern belle (Marla) by helping her pick up her books when she drops them, but his helpfulness only gets him into trouble when she mistakes his polite gesture for a romantic one. Oblivious to Marla's crush on him, Keely & Tia clue him in (apparently guys in the future are STILL totally clueless lol) & warn him not to do anything more to make her think he's interested in her. Phil tries everything to try to send her the message that he's just not interested (including using a DNA Scrambler to deform himself), but no matter how hard he tries, Marla just won't take a hint. Desperate, he asks Keely for advice on how to let her down easy. Keely encourages him to just be his "cute, funny, & sensitive" self, so Phil decides to write her a poem. Marla finally gets the message, but Phil learns that breaking up w/ someone using poetry isn't exactly the wisest thing in the world to do... Lloyd tells Pim that she needs to find a hobby instead of just lying around the house watching TV all day, so she "convinces" Bradley Benjamin Farmer to let her join the orchestra. More than annoyed by the fact that she's stuck playing gongs while Debbie Berwick has a solo in the next concert, Pim tries unsuccessfully to sabotage Debbie's performance. Goofs & Fun Facts:Play on words: the title of this episode is a pun of the phrase (possibly a song, too?) "forever yours". When Marla drops her books in the faraway shot, she drops a few books & is holding a purple book & a binder, but in the close-up shot she's seen only w/ the binder & the book is on the floor. After Phil & Marla pick up the books, there's a skinny black book on top of the stack, & a purple book closer to the bottom of the stack, but after a few shots the purple book is on top & it looks as if Marla is having trouble holding it. Then after another few shots the black book is on top of the stack again. The song that Debbie sings during her performance is actually sung by Alyson Michalka's sister, Amanda. The man & woman in the audience during Debbie's performance is the same man & woman in the audience during Keely's flashback of her 3rd grade performance in "My Way". At the end of the concert, there's a close-up of Debbie & she has a piece of cloth in her right hand, but in the next shot it's in her left. Pim & Bradley meet for the first time in this episode.

"Future Tutor"

Director: Neal Israel

Brenda Song (Tia) Kay Panabaker (Debbie Berwick) J.P. Manoux (Mr. Hackett) Stacy Francis (Miss Hanks) Evan Peters (Seth Wosmer) Melissa Zanit (Student)
Co-stars: Monica Louwerens (Future Teacher) Ben DiGregorio (Gunter)
Futuristic Gadget:
Wizard Summary:In this first episode of Phil of the Future, Phil & Pim start their first day of school in the 21st century - but not w/o some minor bumps along the way. As if showing up in school clothes from the wrong decade isn't bad enough, they both have to learn how to adjust to going to school in a completely different century. Phil, an algebra whiz, offers to tutor Keely, one of the "popular kids". Not wanting to take him up on his offer in front of her friends, she waits till they're alone & practically begs him to help her. While he's tutoring her @ a restaurant, her friends show up & to avoid being seen w/ Phil, she ducks under the table, pulling him down w/ her. Since schools in the future don't have cliques, he doesn't understand why they're so important. Keely explains that there are a bunch of rules, the biggest one being that you can only hang out w/ those in your own clique. When Keely is checking to see if the coast is clear, her friends see her, & Phil manages to slip out unseen. The next day, Keely decides to forget the rules & sit w/ Phil @ lunch...until Pim comes to give Phil the message from Lloyd saying that it was "time to go home", meaning that he had fixed the time machine. Dragging him away before he even has a chance say "goodbye" to his new friends, Phil isn't too disappointed when Lloyd discovers that he hadn't fixed the time machine after all & tells the family that they would be there for a while. Pim competes in a bake-off against Debbie Berwick for "Chalk Monitor" in Mr. Hackett's class, but when her brownies turn out to be a little hard to swallow, she resorts to using a sob story to get elected. Goofs & Fun Facts:Original episode title: "Weapons of Math Destruction" When Tia says to Keely, "Look, math dweeb is sitting next to you", Phil isn't sitting next to Keely, he's sitting behind her. The uniforms that the cheerleaders wore were the same ones the cheerleaders wore in Lizzie McGuire. When Pim is telling Phil that it was time to go home, her necklace is unchained, but in a faraway shot, it's chained again.

"Future Jock" U.S. Premiere: August 13, 2004 Writers: Adam Lapidus & Steve Luchsinger Director: David Kendall Guest Stars: Eric Allan Kramer (Coach Buchinsky) J.P. Manoux (Mr. Hackett) Cody Kasch (Troy) Sonya Eddy (Miss Donaldson)
Co-star: Dan Benson (Sterling)
Futuristic Gadget: Penny Missile Summary: Pim goes too far when she uses a Penny Missile to launch a trash can, forcing Lloyd to lock up all the futuristic gadgets in a box in the time machine. When Keely is impressed by a gymnast @ their school, Phil comes up w/ a plan to use the Penny Missile to try out for the gymnastics team. He sneaks into the time machine while everybody's asleep to get it, but after slipping on a mess that Pim had made in the kitchen earlier that day, Pim hears him & finds out what he's up to. She follows him to his tryout the next day, & after watching him wow the coach w/ his impressive performance, she comes up w/ a plan to get her "perfect brother" into trouble. The whole school hears about Phil's gymnastic "skills" & everyone (including Keely) is impressed. Phil loves all the attention he gets, but @ the next gymnastic tournament, Pim reveals to Phil that she knows all about his scheming & makes him feel guilty about it by surprising him & telling him how proud she is that he's so "devious & evil" like herself. Putting the Penny Missile on top of his gym bag, he tries to tell the coach that he can't go through w/ the tournament, but when his turn comes up, he tries to go through w/ the routine anyway. Unfortunately, the Penny Missile had fallen off his gym bag onto the floor & rolled into the springs of the board he jumps on, causing him to make a complete fool of himself & mess up the entire tournament. Since Pim had told their parents to come, too, they see the whole thing & Lloyd is furious that Phil took the Penny Missile. Keely also talks to Phil afterwards & after telling her that he had pretended to be something that he wasn't because he had wanted to impress her, he learns that she likes him just the way he is. Goofs & Fun Facts: Mr. Hackett says that Troy won 8 medals @ the gymnastics meet. This is impossible, even if he medaled on every event & in an all-around. When Troy gives a medal to Keely, he hands her one w/ a blue ribbon, but after Keely puts it on, the ribbon's yellow. When Phil tries out for the gymnastics team, he has no gloves or taping on before he starts his jump, but 2 seconds later while he's on the bar, he's wearing both. At the gymnastics tournament, Phil's wearing blue wristbands, but when he's on the bars, he's wearing red & white wristband. Then when he's on the rings, he's wearing blue wristbands again.

Guest Stars:
J.P. Manoux (Mr. Hackett) Kay Panabaker (Debbie Berwick) Patrick O'Brien (Mr. Fleet)

Futuristic Gadget:
Skyak Summary:When Keely talks to Phil about the whole school going on a field trip to the Pickford Tomato Ranch, she also mentions that they would be getting into a "stomping tub" to stomp tomatoes - barefoot. Phil panics because being from the future, he only has four toes instead of five. He makes the excuse that he's allergic to tomatoes, but Keely points out that he's about to eat a hotdog w/ ketchup on it. Later @ home, Phil tells his parents about his problem, & Lloyd decides to make Phil a fake toe. The idea works great - until it falls off in the tub of tomatoes & the tour guide spots it. To keep him from picking it up & having everybody see it, Phil throws a tomato @ him, but misses & hits Keely instead, which starts a tomato fight. Later while Phil is waiting in line @ school to see the principal, Keely suddenly shows up & tells him her "deepest darkest secret", & also shows him that she found his "toe" in the tomato goop. To his relief, she tells him that it doesn't matter to her that he only has four toes, & she makes him promise not to keep anymore secrets from her. As she walks away, he stops her & tells her the reason why he only has four toes, leaving her in shock. Back @ the Diffy house, Phil tells Lloyd about telling Keely their secret. Lloyd freaks out until Keely comes over & assures them that their secret is safe w/ her, & Phil gives her a ride home on the Skyak. Pim & Debbie Berwick overhear Mr. Hackett talking on the phone about a surgery he's planning to have & how he can't afford it, so they compete to raise money to help him out. When they find out it's nothing more than a hair transplant, they take back the money, leaving him w/ an unfinished 'do. Goofs & Fun Facts:After Phil throws his hotdog, another one appears on his plate. In the same scene, the lid to Keely's juice bottle is on & off in several shots. When Pim asks Jorge if he wants a belt buckle, her hair is covering her ear. After a few shots it's behind her ear, then goes back to covering her ear. After the tomato fight, it seems that the amount of tomato gunk on Phil & Keely's clothes adds & lessens, & the stains frequently change places.

During one of their jobs, they meet a dog named Mad Max & soon find out where his name came from. He chases them all the way to the top of his dog house, & Phil uses a function on his wizard that interprets animal sounds to try to find out what's bugging him. Turns out he was upset because his master had left him all alone when he went away to college. Feeling sorry for the dog, they promise to be his friends & visit him everyday. On the day of the concert, Phil is startled to find Max in his house. Using the wzrd on him again, he finds out that Max is bummed because his master wouldn't be coming home from college that weekend like he had planned. To help cheer him up, Phil gives him a head scratch & listens to Max tell his entire life story. He eventually tells Max that he has to leave for the concert, & Max is left alone. When they find out that Max had run away, Keely is upset that Phil had left Max all alone knowing that he was upset & skips the concert to go look for him. Phil feels guilty & ends up looking for him, too, & literally bumps into Keely in the process. Together they try to figure out where Max could possibly have gone, when Phil suddenly remembers something Max had mentioned back @ the house about the dog pound. Thinking that maybe he had gone there to get a "fresh start", they race over to the pound & find him sitting there waiting for someone to take him home w/ them. After Phil apologizes to Max for leaving him & assuring him that they really did care about him, they take him home. Pim fakes an injury to get out of gym & eventually gets Debbie Berwick to wait on her hand & foot. Her plan backfires when Debbie does too good of a job taking care of her, & also promises to never leave her side until she gets better. Goofs & Fun Facts:Play on words: the title of this episode is a pun of the 2003 Eddie Murphy movie Daddy DaycareWhen Phil bumps into Keely while they'e searching for Max, a bead on her necklace is flipped up. After several shots it's down again. Playing the voice of Mad Max was one of the last roles that Rodney Dangerfield played before his death on October 5, 2004.

Futuristic Gadget: Replicator Summary: While working on a project for video production class, Phil becomes too much of a perfectionist & starts bossing Keely, Seth, & Tia around. When he blows up @ Keely for making a mistake, she & Tia leave. Seth points out that he kinda made Keely feel bad, but Phil just complains about all the mistakes she had made & then gets mad @ Seth when he leaves because he still needs help w/ the video editing. Later, Phil feels frustrated because of all the work he still has left to do. His dad passes by his room & asks what's wrong & after telling him his problem, Lloyd suggests using the replicator to duplicate himself. Phil takes his suggestion & is thankful for the extra help, but when one of his replicants starts bossing the other one around, it makes Phil realize that that was exactly what he was doing to Keely. At school the next day, Seth & Tia are both still mad @ him for the way he treated Keely, so he goes off to find her & apologize, but she gives him the cold shoulder. Later as he's passing by the auditorium, he hears music & finds Keely by herself playing her guitar. Secretly videotaping her performance, he uses that along w/ some additional footage of his friends goofing off to make a video apologizing to his friends for the way he had treated them. Pim takes a shortcut in speed walking during gym class, but when the principal finds out about her "skill", he persuades her to join the track team. At first she refuses, but when the speed walking champion of a rival school drops by her house & starts talking trash, her competitive side takes over. With a little help from Debbie Berwick, she tries to dig up some dirt on him to help her beat him. Goofs & Fun Facts: When Phil, Keely, Tia, & Seth are gathered around Phil's locker, Phil pulls the shelf out from his locker & hands Keely & Tia a soda. After a couple of shots, Phil & Seth also have sodas, & there's a bowl of chips on the shelf. In "You Say Toe-Mato", Phil only has 4 toes, but in the scene where he replicates himself, he's in flip-flops & you can clearly see 5 toes.
