Ok, I wrote my own song last week and I also made up the music for it on my guitar(as my SN implies, I'm EXACTLY like Ryan Cabrera, lol. I have the EXACT same style as him in terms of my songs and how I play and what not) So here's the chorus of it because I'm afraid that if I type out the whole song, it will get jacked and somebody will get famous and won't give me credit. Lol, and it's a MUCH better song if you actually hear me play it because it's a fun song to play, but I guess the lyrics will do. In case any of you play an instrument, I guess I can put the notes above the chorus too if you want to play it. It won't let me place the note directly above the word where you play it, so I guess you'll just have to figure out the timing. Lol. So here it is:
"Everytime" by me
Chorus: G Csus2 Everytime I look up Em D There I see you G Csus2 Everytime I wake up Em D There you are G Csus2 Em D/F# In my mind you're never far behind(never far behind) G Csus2 Em D In my mind you'll always be with me(always be with me) G Everytime
Oh yeah, it's supposed to be a more upbeat song rather than a slow or sad song or wutever... so yeah, what do u guys think of it?

haha And you should, sounds like you've got talent! I take great pride in the poem & quote I wrote last year, too, actually, but mainly because they're the only things I've ever been inspired to write. lol

Wow, ur more advanced at the guitar than me. I only know two of those chords, D and G. I know a couple of chords, but can only play 5. I know: D, G, A (two), C, F, D7
I can play: D, G, A (both) and F.
I also know only two power chords. I don't know what they're called though.

Well, you're both more advance than me, I don't know any guitar chords. lol Two of my cousins tried helping me learn, but one didn't know that much himself & the other was way too detailed. He was trying to teach me the correct way to hold the guitar & everything the way he learned, which is great, but it was just confusing. lol

Lol, well I've been playing for about 6 years now. And trust me, it can be REALLY hard to teach, so I know how it can be really hard to learn. Lol, practically every month I get somebody that just comes up to me begging me to teach him or her, but I've never been a successful teacher. Lol. It's just so hard to help them understand and they eventually give up... The best teaching I've ever done is probably with this one girl who was able to get the A and E chords straight... ;D
