Wow, a diary. I haven't kept one of these since I was nine. Also, bear in mind that I'm very sporadic with diaries. Ok let's start at the beginning. ( A very good place to start. My real name is Jess and I was born on the 6th of November, in the Year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five. Which would make me 19 to those abysmal at math like me. I was born in a magical land called Renton, Seattle, Washington. When I was 4 months old, my parents and I flew over one of those giant puddles known as an ocean to the Land Down Under, Australia. And yet after only 4 months in the US of A and after all these years in Aus, I have still retained my American accent. Figure that out! Then, when I was around 3 - 3 1/2 my sister was born. That was nice. She's almost SIXTEEN now! *wipes away a tear* They grow up so fast! Then, when I was 10, my parents split up. Not so nice. But I'm way over it. I am very, very close to my family. It's almost Mafia-like actually. On my Mom's side I have Nana and Pop, 3 uncles, 1 aunt (by marriage) and 2 cousins. Also, we are very religious. My Nana keeps Holy Water in her fridge. She and Pop are over in the states now, in Texas, I think, looking after my uncle Mike, who just went into hospital. Then there is Granny and Dada. My Dad's side isn't very religious at all, even though they own like five Bibles, which they never even look at. They have a farm. With mandarin and orange orchards and sheep and geese and a corgi dog named Cuddles. I work there during the picking season. My Uncle Jimmy (Dad's little brother) died last year though. Poor Jimmy, he really was the sweetest guy. I think I might leave it there for today. My fingers are getting tired. See ya'll later then.

I'm trying to think of some other stuff to write here so I don't end up abandoning it like last time. So here's some random stuff. Name: Jess Ann Marie. ( Stop laughing this instant!) Age: 19. 20 in November My GOD I feel so old!) Favorite Color: Yellow. ( I don't know why.) Favorite Song: It practically changes every week but this week it's Half-Life by Duncan Sheik. Favorite Sport: Baseball. Don't really watch it much but I used to play it with my eldest cousin (2 years younger than me) practically every weekend when I was younger. Good times. Favorite TV Show: Well, this changes with whatever mood I'm in but at the moment... *dances energetically to Phil's theme song* Favorite Book: I have millions of favorite books but I'm gonna use foresight on this one and say HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE! JULY 16, BABY! YEAH! ...........ahem, yeah. Favorite Movie: Why am I so indecisive? Well, at the moment I'm rather fond of Cold Mountain. *dons southern accent* I marry you, I marry you, I marry you. I have no idea of what else to say. How about this? Why don't you tell me what you want to know, ok? Cause I could talk about nothing forever and a day! See ya later!

Ok, I'm back from spending the Easter weekend at Granny and Dada's farm. A time that mostly consisted of: Doing a puzzle with Granny (her latest obsession) Watching my Dada yell at the footy on TV and radio (funny cause he's usually so calm) Eating my Mom's lamb roast (the best in the world!) Introducing my grandparents to the wonders of the Lord Of The Rings movies (Aragorn's evil isn't he, Jess? What's with the big firey eyeball Jess? Why is that boy's foot covered in hair like that Jess?) Waking up Easter Sunday morning 6 times to a bird that for some reason sounds exactly like my cell phone alarm. Shaking my shoes everytime before putting them on to avoid scorpion bites. And checking under the bedsheets for spiders before bedtime. And, yes, I am being serious. Raiding my grandparents bookcase for 1970's mad magazine, Garfield and Peanuts paperbacks. (There's one my Dad bought with his allowance when he was 8.) My sister and I laughing at my Dad's baby book. (There was one of him in a Superman outfit when he was 4 that was particularly humorous.) Watching the sun go down Easter Saturday over the neighbour's field that was full of a mob of wild grey kangaroos at the time. (Very pretty.) Talking to my great grandmother (Granny's mom) over the phone on Sunday. (She's in Louisiana and is quite the spitfire. ) The hour long trip back home at night with no street lights and my dad driving ahead of us with his brights on to make sure we didn't hit any cars or kangaroos. So that was pretty much my trip. Lots of fun.

I apologize. I am so ridiculously neglectful. Seriously, I have no sense of routine whatsoever. Right at this very moment, somewhere, my 8th grade English teacher is shaking her head in disgust. So, what's new with me that I haven't already shared in the Cove? Hmm... I have very recently got into Gilmore Girls. Against my will, actually. My sister is a complete fanatic. I used to watch it to bond with her 'cause it was pretty much the only time she would sit still. But then I noticed Lorelai and Luke. Aren't they just darling? So now I kinda like it. Now my sister and I have a routine that I am actually able to stick to. I watch Gilmore Girls and she watches Phil. Ah, television, an unbreakable bond, destined to last for a lifetime and beyond, far longer than forever. (Yes, I have seen The Swan Princess, ok? ) It's funny though, the girl? Rory, or whatever? Doesn't really appeal. No. I mean, she's a pretty fair actor, I like her, and I love the mother/daughter dynamic, but that's about all I can say of her. Her relationships with that dark haired guy, or that kid with a wife or Chad Michael Murray don't really interest me. I find I'm more interested in Lorelai's problems. Is that weird or what? Also, have you noticed that all the dialouge is like, rapid-fire. Seriously, I charge you with this task. The next time it's on in your area, sit down and watch and count the number of times they pause between lines. An episode's an hour? You will be able to count it on one hand, guarantee it. Aside from that, then. Thinking...thinking... Wow. How boring am I?

I seriously, no joke, forgot I had a diary. *hides in shame* Although to be fair, I don't really see how anybody could be waiting desperately to hear about every little detail of my life, cause, hey, kinda boring. Ah well... When was my last entry, hmm, let's see... *scrolls up* Looks to be...the 7th of January...2006...oh dear. I shall try to be more dutiful from now on. Here's an idea. I'll redo that fabulous list I did on the 22nd of March, 2 years ago. Wouldn't that be lovely? ;D Well, too bad I'm doing it anyway. Name: Still Jess Ann Marie, funnily enough this sort of thing isn't often likely to change. Jess by itself, better. Age: As of November last year, 21. *plans for retirement*Favorite Color: At the moment, burgundy. I haven't a clue. Favorite Song: At the current time, My Sharona - The Knack. Not exactly new, but you should see me dance to it. ...then again maybe not. Favorite Sport; To play, still baseball. To watch, Aussie Rules Football, although I am partial to the odd NFL game. ;D Favorite TV Show: At the moment, I'd have to say Heroes, although the sixth season of Family Guy is a close second. Favorite Book: Oddly reminicent of my last answer, but that aside, foresight don't fail me now, HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS, BABY! YEAAAAAAAH!! Favorite Movie: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, I have seen the future and I have found it sweeeeeeeeeeet. Also possible The Simpsons Movie, it's all up in the air at this point. Well, there's a considerable update. Although it doesn't appear that I have changed very much at all over time, does it. Eh. Well, til' next time then. I'll try not to make it next year. Later.
