I'm Ann. I'm your average football-playing, hair-loving, girl. And I'm going to amuse you with my crazy misadventures. At least, I'm going to try. Alright, so last night, my cousin (she'll be two years old in August) Cadence and her parents came over for dinner. You know, almost two, she could say things like Dada and Mama. I'd just seen Dinner Time and was still all hyped up about the end part. I was talking about it when Cadence threw corn on the cob at her father. That kind of imterupted me. Later, while watching a Sesame Street tape (it was Cadence's, not mine) I said, "Hey, Cadence, can you say "Phil?" And she said it. Then I said, "Cadence, can you say "Kee?" And she said it. So then I asked her if she could say "Lee". And she did. So then she could say "Keely". I kept asking her if she could say "Phil" and "Keely" throughout the whole night to make sure she didn't forget. She didn't. I have lots of little...misadventures like this. Check back soon!

Yesterday I had a rehearsal for my dance performance thing. It was outside and we all had to wear tee-shirts...at least. my class did. But when I ordered a tee shirt, I didn't put down a size, so they chose for me. When I put it on, it when down past the bottom of my shorts. And I was wearing sports shorts. The sleeves, which were supposed to be short sleeves, went past my elbows. I had to twist my sleeves into knots and tie my shirt into a knot to keep it the right length. It still looked weird. And I still have tonight, the actual performance. My mom, dad, little brother (probably bored) grandfather and baby cousin will be there. I'm just going to shrink it in the wash, though. I looked realy weird with it all tied up in knots. But give me a break, they gave me an adult large.

A few days ago I slept over at my best friend, Maggie's, house. We stayed up until 2 in the morning playing games and watching TV. But we were being noisy and her dad came down and yelled at us. We were sprawled out in our sleeping bags on the floor when the computer, in the next room, screensaver came on, and it changed the lighting of the room. Maggie got freaked out. I told her it was just the computer, but she went and got her mom anyway, so her mom ended up sleeping in the living room with us. I woke up at like 9 the next morning, and Maggie was still sleeping. So I played solitire and mancala with myself until she got up. Then I taught her how to play backgammon and chess, but she got bored of them, and it was noon by now, so we went and made chocolate pudding. We got messy because the blender went wacko.

August 8, 2005 Yesterday night, in the BLISTERING HEAT, I might add, we went to my baby cousin's birthday party. In the park. Really hot. Cadence was turning two, and I had another cousin, Isabelle, who was there, and she's about 7 months old. Cadence and Isabelle were cracking us all up and Isabelle spit up all over my mom's shirt. It was hilarious, and me and Maggie (she loves babies, so we brought her along) sat there laughing our heads off. Before Cadence ate her bit of cake, her mom made her take her shirt off, and when I saw Cadence eat, I knew why. Seriously, she had frosting all over herself, but it was hilarious. But she can't say Phil and Keely anymore!

Woah. I just got home from school. That was really freaky. Me and my little brother walked up to where the walkers leave, and the teacher was standing there telling us a huge storm was on the way, and we needed to hurry home. so when we went outside, our eardrums explode, the thunder's so loud! There was this big dark cloud hovering over the school, I brushed my hair out of my face, kids were rushing down the sidewalk to get home, yelling at their brothers and sisters. My borther, my friend, and me run home in the noise. Lightning flashing...that was so freaky.
